Needs to address security issue

As the Furmston Studio is attached to the Furmston House, there is a shared porch at the rear of the house. The owners really need to put up a barrier or sign along this porch as the studio and house occupants are two separate bookings. We were awoken at 3am with someone (I presume a guest at the house) trying to enter OUR premises/bedroom. While the owner can’t control the actions of all their guests... they should at least take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and security of their guests by installing a barrier/wall. Until this is addressed, I would suggest steering clear of this property.

The house is a really lovely property to stay in. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the place very clean. The only downside is the placement of the toilet roll holder under the hand towel and the shower leaked onto the floor well after the showers were finished, making it potentially dangerous. The view was fantastic. Unfortunately we stayed just after Melbourne’s 6th lockdown, and dining options were limited due to not all restaurants being open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy studio on a rainy night in Healesville. The amenities are excellent, with special mention to the Nespresso machine, the T2 tea and the toiletries provided. The communication provided by Amber prior to check in was first class. The studio is centrally located in a lovely street. We definitely recommend a stay in the Furmston Studio if visiting Healesville.

Gorgeous studio apartment in a perfect location, just park the car & walk everywhere in town. Even though you’re in the centre of town it’s a quiet & relaxed space.

Beautiful and convenient little stay.

The studio was perfect for my me my wife and 2.9 year old daughter. It was close to the main strip of shops and parks. Very cosy and was able to relax well.

Really good stay . The place is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house - very centrally located - was lovely being able to walk into town for breakfast / coffees / dinner. And very easy to drive around Yarra as centrally located for all the vineyards. Attached to Healesville Hotel where staff were super helpful (and you get a 10% discount !) - would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Excellent value at the price we paid.

This review is for the Furmston Studio. It is much larger than it looks in the picture! It was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable and the small living room area was cute. There was also a private area outside where you can lounge and drink wine. I would definitely come back!
