Simple lovely room atop the cellar door/ restaurant. Beautiful outlook and hidden away. Nestled amongst many other vinyards and cellar doors in the region. I would most certainly return and probably will in the next year or so

Vinyard Serenity
Location was secluded with a spectacular vineyard view, so we tended to see past the stained carpet, and other smaller defects. The wines generally weren't anything memorable, but the pinot menier "Fun Cousin" was fantastic! Didn't eat at the restaurant. Oh, and did I mention that the view over the vines was spectacular?!
A beautiful accommodation for our 3 day get away. Straight away we were taken away by the beautiful scenery of the vineyards and accommodation building. The donkey Humphrey was very friendly. Was very easy & had great communication leading up to our stay in regards to getting our room key as we arrived quite late in the night. The room itself was beautiful. Comfortable king bed, TV with Foxtel, balcony overlooking the spectacular vineyard, clean bathroom (with soaps, shampoo, body wash).
The only downfall was there was an off putting smell in the room when we arrived, and quickly realized it was from the air conditioner, however this smell only occurred when set to temperatures above 20 degrees so the filter may need changing. Additionally there was only shampoo but no conditioner however that wasn’t a major negative.
There was a restaurant down stairs with a beautiful selection of food and you couldn’t hear any noise from the room. Was a great surprise when we went to our wine tasting and were told it was included in our stay.
All the staff were very friendly & approachable.
Not many options for uber or taxi however if you email the accommodation they can give you alternative recommendations. Other options for restaurants and cafes were around 15+ min away from the stay.
Overall, great accommodation & would definitely recommend.
It was peaceful and quiet - just what was needed for a 3 day break

Excellent situation quiet if you want peace but remember a restaurant is down stairs so might be noisy on the balcony. Rooms were not well insulated so you could hear next door.. if you like doughy breakfast then perfect for you. Need to have a varied menu fresh juice and fruit was also delivered ( a knife would have been a good acquisition )
We had a wonderful stay at Mantons Creek Estate & Lodge. The staff had excellent communication before and during our stay. If you're staying during the week, its like a secluded escape from busy city life.
Beautiful setting and quiet. Great location for touring around Red Hill.

Beautiful setting and very comfortable, however check in ( collecting a key a few kms away) was a little disorganised; and disappointing no breakfast was provided, as it is several kms from any shop/café. I would suggest a jar of cereal/ muesli and 600ml of milk be provided so that guests can breakfast in the room and enjoy the view
Spent a wonderful stay here with a balcony view overlooking the vines. The estate was peaceful, quiet and very romantic. There is an amazing restaurant, and great cellar door which are open during the day, but once closed the estate becomes quiet and tranquil. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area for dinner and breakfast, we picked up some local provisions and wine and sat on our balcony watching the sunset over the vines below us, very peaceful.
I think a small bottle of the house would have been good and when picking up the key a call to the winery to we are on the way and should have had someone meet as
This place is very relaxing and quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. The only downside is there is no restaurant or cafe on the premises therefor you need to travel elsewhere for breakfast and food.
Cost of room only was overpriced.
Quiet and picturesque. Will have more potential when they open a restaurant. Only a cellar door at the moment. Highly recommend the wine. Have to go offsite to eat.
Room and facilities were great, however it lacked a table on the patio which made it difficult to have drinks. Biggest let down is the arrangements for breakfast - a voucher for $30 - first cafe they recommended did not serve breakfast and next one was at least 5 ks. away and the breakfast was POOR - 2 poached eggs on thin sour dough bread - no butter or margarine. Unfortunately, this spoilt the whole experience.

The hotel is lovely, especially the fireplace in the shared lounge area. We recommend bringing a cheese and meat board to enjoy with a bottle of local wine by the fire.
It was disappointing that the value of the breakfast voucher ($30 I think) is not enough to cover the cost of breakfast for two people. Due to food intolerances, it was recommended by staff at the Epicurean that we eat at the Main Ridge Harvest cafe where they could cater for us with their a la carte menu (the Epicurian breakfasts are mostly rolls, etc). However the average cost per meal is greater than $15, without even thinking about a coffee. Then we were slugged with a public holiday surcharge. This meant $30 out if pocket, only ordering one meal and one coffee each. So basically little saving point in going there, could have gone somewhere else. This is a bit unfair to market this room as 'including breakfast', as some people will use this information to decide between similar places. It would be much more honest to state the room rate 'includes a $30 voucher for breakfast'.
Nice location that is a very quiet country setting. Comfortable room with a very nice outlook, has toaster and kettle on room ... Could do with a Microwave . Communal lounge downstairs with big open fire place which would be great on a winters night with friends . ..
