"What a find in regional South Australia. a tastefully furbished very well appointed place to stay in an area where my expectations were not high. Rooms are large, beds comfortable, everything was clean and in working order. The restaurant serves good food (portions on the large side!) and staff are attentive, friendly and competent. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting Port Pirie."

"The room in this old hotel was as described, clean and comfortable enough. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having the spillover space of the common room for breakfast and games (& we happened to have it to ourselves). The pub meal was good, and we didn’t mind the reasonable evening noise from the pub. The Wilmington Hotel met our expectations."

"We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our short visit to the area. The house was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for a self contained stay. The location was perfect, the beach was great for walking, shell collecting and bird watching, and when it was too cold outside we played board games and did jigsaw puzzles from the house collection! "Beautifully and tastefully renovated upstairs apartment with fantastic views of the Pirie River/Solly Beach and the magnificent Flinders Ranges from the balcony & family room/kitchen. Well equipped right down to scissors & sticky tape. It is much roomier than the photos depict and is very easy to live in. Would stay again and highly recommend. Thank you Courtney"
