"L’emplacement est idéal afin d’être proche de plusieurs plages en voiture, épicerie à 20 secondes à pied, boulangerie 30 secondes à pied, vraiment utile le matin. Il y a des bons restaurants tout près. Très belle piscine à l’hôtel, les gens sont accueillants et la plage du diamant est très belle mais parfois agitée. Il est préférable de prendre la vue sur la mer, très belle vue. Je retournerais à cet endroit sans hésiter."

Nous avons principalement vécu sur la terrasse, particulièrement pratique sous ces latitudes : - Cuisine extérieure - BBQ en dur (nous nous sommes régalés de poissons toutes les vacances) - Salon extérieur - Coin repas Une petite piscine est à disposition : elle est propre, bien orientée, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié les sécurités enfants installées par notre hôte.Proximité pratique Vous trouverez un marché à 5 minutes en voiture, où il est possible de trouver des fruits, légumes, poissons et viande frais.L'emplacement exceptionnel L'endroit en lui-même est magique : en surplomb de l'océan, la vue y est magnifique. De plus, nous étions à quelques kilomètres des Anses d'Arlet, qui offrent : - Des plages magnifiques - Des spots de snorkeling pour débutants, où vous verrez : tortues, balistes, poissons anges, chirurgiens... et bien d'autres !Notre hôte : au top Pour finir, notre hôte a été super sympathique. Très prévenant, il nous a donné d'excellents conseils sur les activités à disposition. Présent sans être pesant, il a su être là quand nous en avions besoin.En résumé : Une super expérience ! "We enjoyed walking to the beach (just across the street), and ON the beach every morning. The beach is clean and beautiful, other walkers friendly, and every morning was a new view—sun, clouds, waves—large or small, boats…beautiful!!The host (Amelie) was available for questions via WhatsApp or in person. There is AC which kept us comfortable for sleeping, otherwise we had the door open. We didn’t spend much time at the VRBO, more time exploring.We did rent a car to explore the island, it was helpful. Lots of roundabouts and hills. Beautiful and lush, banana and sugarcane plantations. Highly recommend the Clément Rhum Distillery—lots of history, art displayed outdoors on the grounds, tasting room. Also there are fabric stores! Some featuring the Caribbean madras! Downtown Le Diamant offers restaurants (XO was excellent), a post office with an outside ATM, a small grocery store, several bakeries, a “farm market” at Marché Polyvalent Le Diamant every day except Monday, 6:30am-1:30pm. We had very little French language knowledge but most everyone was helpful and friendly, and acknowledged our effort…and they definitely know more than “just a little bit of English”, to make us feel better they would say that! We did use Google Translate when desperate!"

"La situation géographique (à proximité d'une plage) et le stationnement privé fut grandement apprécié. Par contre, nous avions opté pour cet hébergement incluant un lave-linge qui était bel et bien spécifié dans sa description alors que dans les faits, il n'y en avait pas du tout. Ce qui de toute évidence a chamboulé le déroulement de notre séjour."

"Our week at the Sun Rock Villa in Le Diamant was spectacular. The villa itself was spacious, the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed to self-cater, the beds comfortable, the backyard and pool perfectly private, and the proximity to the beach was even better than we expected. Our host was an excellent communicator and responses were quick and courteous. Quite honestly - my husband and I often reflected throughout our week at how lucky we felt to have snagged our villa. We are a family of 5 and each bedroom had a private ensuite bath, which made everyone happy. There are four villas in a row, each with a private pool and backyard. Our friends (another family) booked the villa beside us and we ended up eating most meals together. Would absolutely book this again and would recommend this villa wholeheartedly. "

"Falling asleep to the sounds of nature, waking up to a gorgeous view, being able to visit the rest of the island, then come home to relax in the hot tub - this was exactly what we were after, and found it! Muriel and her husband were absolutely lovely, and on our first night made the most amazing tuna tartare I've ever had. We also loved the occasional visits from their dog leelee, feeding fruit to the birds, and a great little cat. I will mention that the roads getting there are not for the faint of heart, but by the end we drove it like locals. Absolutely recommend this hidden oasis."
