One of the most elegant hotels I've ever stayed in. Beautiful architecture and art work with the most amazing views of Lake Como. The pool and surround grounds were perfect for relaxation. The breakfast had made to order plates and t g e buffet items were extensive. Every staff member were very attentive to our needs.

Everything was ok, nice view, nice restaurant. Only the bathroom was very cramped and it was very difficult to use the shower. You had to practically walk through the toilet.

lovely hotel, great location, staff friendly and helpful. Minor improvements suggested e.g. provide hair conditioner in bathrooms; have china cups for tea and coffee in bedrooms instead of paper cups; free bottled water would be appreciated in bedrooms.

Not worth the money. The place is beautiful on the outside but terribly needs renovation on the inside. Mold in the hallways- rooms are out of date, shower didn’t work when we originally got there. Staff was great overall but gave us wrong info for the ferry so we missed the ferry leaving because of it. Overall not bad but not worth the cost.

My daughter and I stayed here and your first greeted with the view thru the lobby! They were so accommodating as our room wasn't ready(arrived to early). They stored our luggage and offered us beach towels to enjoy the pool. They offer a great breakfast, the afternoon, the bar offers a great lunch and a nice supper at the restaurant. Location was awesome, right beside ferry to other towns. Walkable to lots of other restaurants and shops. Banks and pharmacy near by. Will definitely be staying again!

We enjoyed our stay at this classical hotel. Nice view of the lake. I f you would like to experience a classical 4-5 star beach hotel as it was 50 years ago (said in the most positive way). The decor is well maintained and clean, but style is as in the good old days

The hotel is a little 'older' in style, but very nice. It's not in the tourist area but it is right next to the ferry area. If you are traveling using pulic transportation, taking the train to Varenna and then Ferry across to the hotel is easy. Better than taking the bus from Como S. Giovanni. Although the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. Menaggio side of the lake you will see the sunrise. Varenna side sees the sunset. Bellagio sees both but is larger and full of tourist. The Grand Hotel Menaggio allows you to be close to tourist areas, but be away from them enough that it's quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again.

The view from the swimming pool was mesmerizing. The air conditioning did not work incredibly well during record-breaking heat however. The front desk staff were very helpful with very specific questions. The dinner in the restaurant was one of the best dinners I've had in my life and I'm 62. The property has not been updated since 2007 and it does sort of show although I understand that there has been a pandemic. But finding a relatively affordable place to stay in such a spectacular setting was really wonderful.

This Grand hotel was unlike other higher priced Grand hotels. Located right next to the ferry landing, the hotel is lake front. Views of the property and lake are breath taking. The rooms are spacious, breakfast plentiful, and had a Victorian decor in the lobby. It was a 5 min walk to the square where all the restaurants are located. Ask for Mario, an outside taxi driver that helped with other towns on the same side of the lake. Although restaurants close at 10 pm the hotel barman was able to make pizza and sandwiches that were delicious and much appreciated. A fact that the hotel receptionist did not know, the bellboy knew! I would come back here again.

The rooms are dated but very clean, AC is good. Hotel property well maintained and nice atmosphere. Hotel is amazing with gorgeous Water front views and beautiful seating along the water front and nice pool. The downtown of MENAGGIO is a 3 minute walk , the.entire town is on the beautiful water front of Lake Como and has cute shops and many quaint restaurants with outdoor dining options . Every restaurant is surrounded by beautiful flower pots and lighted umbrellas over tables.Ferry landing is 2 minute walk from the hotel to catch Ferry around Lake Como. Excellent town to base your stay for your Lake Como visit.
