From BAY DREAM you can walk the trails along the headlands and down to the tide pools, or take a short stroll down to CASPAR BEACH (a 1/2 mile WALK or a 2 minute DRIVE to the SAND ), great for surfing and kayaking. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards at Caspar Beach. You can watch the WHALES migrating, and the SEA LIONS sun themselves from this exclusive peninsula, GATED on a private road where only a handful of homes have been allowed. One of the unique features of this home is its location CLOSE TO THE BLUFF. The ebb and flow of the tides pass right in front of BAY DREAM giving the house its own natural rhythm, a rhythm that seems to REPLENISH THE SOUL AND SPIRIT of those within. Many guests have commented on this phenomenon over the years along with their remarks of 'We did not want to leave'. Stay a few days at Bay Dream and see for yourself! This open concept, MULTI-LEVEL home with its HUGE windows, decks and large HOT TUB provide endlessly-changing views of breaking waves, A BLOW-HOLE, fishing boats, kayaks, windsurfers, surfers, sunsets, and abundant wildlife! The incredible wildlife entertainment include whales, sea lions, osprey, pelicans, and gulls swimming and soaring up close and personal!
From the LARGE OPEN KITCHEN area you can VIEW the OCEAN with fishing boats, the BAY with kayaks and abalone-divers, and the BEACH with its surfers and paddle boarders; quite an entertaining panorama.
There are BOOGIE BOARDS at the house or rent kayaks, surfboards, etc. at Caspar Beach. A wetsuit is recommended!
For more entertainment on the MAIN FLOOR you have a 58" SMART TV with DVD's, DVR , sound bar, all Direct TV Premium Channels, XBOX ONE, a 3 CD Sony Stereo with MP3 capability, a large portable "ION" speaker/radio/blue tooth system and of course, free HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET up to 8 devices.
The GAME ROOM has a TV+ DVD player, along with FOOSBALL TABLE, poker chips, lots of board games and puzzles, a FULL DAYBED, a fun place for kids.

What a Great Spot

Cozy Stay Watching the Ocean

My husband and I and our late-teen daughter spent mid-week in March. There were a couple of storms, which we loved watching from the many windows of the house, with a fire going in the fireplace. We did the hike to the waterfall in Russian Gulch State Park before the storms started. We also enjoyed the Mendocino Botanical Garden in Fort Bragg. We highly recommend a stay here.

Bay Dreams was even better than we had expected. We had incredible ocean views as well as some charming local visitors. The deer came by frequently and we even got to watch two baby deer frolicking in the backyard.we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waves crash against the cliffs. We were also entertained by barking sea lions and surfers near the beach below. Bay Dreams is also conveniently located between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. The beds were comfortable, the house was super clean and the layout was perfect for our group of four. We highly recommend staying here if you are craving rest, relaxation, as well as adventure.

Family holiday

We enjoyed staying at Bay Dreams for a few days. The kitchen was fully equipped and made staying on for meals great. The bedrooms were clean and all equipped with wifi and tvs and there were plenty of clean sheets and towels to enjoy the hot tub. Beautiful location and comfy place!

Excellent ocean front property

Perfect Family Getaway/Three Generations

We have been visiting the Mendocino area for nearly 50 years; State parks, motels, B&B’s, and vacation homes. This was our first time staying at BAY DREAM….Gorgeous views like we have never had before!!!! This home has everything our 3 generational family needed and more. We definitely will return!

Bragg or Mendocino and the spa was super!The property was definitely well stocked, not all bedrooms have ocean views, and we worked out the limited bathrooms issue for 10 people.We had a GREAT time. Stunning!

This property is just amazing! The house is simply stunning and the host thought of every possible need in advance. The views and access to natural areas were just incredible. We loved listening to the harbor seals, hiking, cooking and spending time indoors and out together. We can’t wait to return!

We were in love with the location. Beautiful, quiet, private. Sat on the deck lulled by the ocean. Saw whales one day! Close to Mendocino - pastries at Good Life cafe were scrumptious! And steaks from Harvest Market excellent. Nicely appointed property. Beds VERY comfortable. Would def recommend this wonderful property.

Absolutely the best!

Everything about this house is as it appears, and even better. The communication and directions were superb and is exactly as it appears in the photos, amazing! The house is well stocked and organized. We had everything we needed, and some things we didn't need. The location and the view is incredible and is close to Mendocino, shopping, and 10-15 minutes to Fort Bragg markets. We would love to stay there again!

Truly special property

We stayed here for my mother’s birthday and it was a fabulous experience. The view is incredible, it’s close to downtown Mendocino, close to a small beach and hikes. It’s equipped with everything you could ever need. After posting pictures of my vacation I had friends asking for the listing, that’s how gorgeous it is. Highly recommend!!!

We had the most incredible stay at Debby's beautiful ocean-view house. The views were breathtaking and the house was absolutely perfect. Great multi-generational getaway!

We had a great 4 day stay at Bay Dream with 3 generations. The views are incredible, the home is very well equipped, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our three families. It’s close to several beaches, Mendocino and Fort Bragg, but the gated court makes it feel off the beaten path. The only small issue we had was the hot tub was pretty noisy at night (we were warned) but it was resolved and we all slept well the next night. All in all it was a great experience and we all left talking about the next trip!

I wish we could have stayed longer! The views from all of the windows and patios are amazing. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. I appreciated the linens and all of the extra towels. We didn’t an opportunity to cook much but the kitchen seemed well stock. Our kids loved the playroom and having the extra space. Thank you!

Family Vacation/Graduation Gift

Our oldest granddaughter graduated from high school. This was her wish list to stay on the beach. We turned it into a family get-together. Bay Dream is a fantastic place. The location is excellent, and the house was stocked with everything. We played board games, enjoyed hikes, ate lunch out, and watched the sunset almost every evening. Debra was a great host and provided well-written instructions. Look forward to staying there again in the future.

Incredible spot!

Ten of us were in town for a friend’s wedding and the property couldn’t have been better! Right in the cliff, the house has truly incredible views. Aside from the setting, the house is extremely well stocked, has great areas to cook and eat a big meal, and has easy access to amazing trails and downtown Mendocino or Ft Bragg. Even with ten of us, didn’t feel too crowded. Would highly recommend the property and would love to come back!

Perfect Getaway

While the house and it’s decorations are a little on the older side the views are timeless! This house has every possible thing 1 could ever want on vacation! Extra towels, pillows, blankets the accommodations were top-notch and would definitely stay here again!
