    Absolute Coorong is a new property on the holiday market and offers hard-to-find accommodation with dress-circle views across the pristine waters of The Coorong and The Coorong National Park a fabulous getaway destination with all the comforts of home.

    On the esplanade in the small and tightly held settlement of Noonameena (17km from Meningie and 90mins from Adelaide), this air-conditioned home offers magnificent views from the front deck, kitchen and living areas and has a fully equipped kitchen, king, queen and bunk bedrooms, two bathrooms and laundry. Altogether, the house sleeps 6 adults and 2 children (bed linen is supplied).

    During your stay, you will have access to kayaks (two single and one tandem, with lifejackets), which can be launched from the settlement beach. With favourable weather, you can cross the 2.4km lagoon and walk across the dunes to the ocean beach. There are also spots to launch your tinny for fishing and boating.

    Wi-Fi is via satellite service. It is ideal for web browsing and email but not for video streaming.

    The Coorong is unique for its birdlife, Indigenous heritage, intriguing colonial history, stunning sunsets, beautiful vistas and relative remoteness. Absolute Coorong is one of the very few places you can enjoy it in comfort.

    Second Bedroom: Queen Bed (Sleeps 2)
    Third Bedroom: 2 Single/Single Bunk Beds* (Sleeps 4, *top bunks not suitable for adults)


    The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases, and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels, and tea towels are all supplied.

    The whole property is fully fenced. It has wire mesh fencing, about 900mm high. We provide dog/cat water and food bowls.

A gem of a place

We loved the presentation of the place very neat and clean.Beds were very comfortable to sleep on . Everything you could want was there .The yard was perfect for our dog she was in her happy place. It was a joy to wake up to the whistling of birds.A perfect spot for peace and Quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Comfortable and relaxing with amazing views of the Coorong

We enjoyed this lovely house with water views over the Coorong. A quiet and relaxing space with everything we needed to enjoy some quiet time away from our busy lives. Close to so many bird watching opportunities in the area enabling us to get out and explore the unique flora and fauna. We took some great photographs to remember the trip by.

Fabulous property in great location

This was my third stay here and it never disappoints. With a stunning view, relaxing walks, cosy house with everything you need. A great place for a family get away. Even better that we can take our 4 legged family member. Close to Meningie and other places that are great to explore. Will be back again.

Our stay

Property is good with well stored kitchen. Unfortunately we had a bad experience as we didn't have power and water for the first day so we stayed the night with a friend. Owner agreed to do a partial refund which is a good thing.

Rooms with views

A very clean and well-appointed property in a relaxing, out of the way location. Meningie has a lovely supermarket and great restaurant where we could have our dogs with us in the garden. A bit of difficulty getting the key lock open to get the house keys - although the code was correct, the lock was very stiff.

A Wonderful Stay

We had a lovelly stay, the house was very comfortable. There were some lovelly walks around the Coorong, which gave use some exercise to wear of the livelly food and wine. It was great having a holiday with our fur baby.

Pooch friendly accommodation

Beautiful fully fenced holiday home opposite a freshwater lagoon at Meningie. Loved the view from the deck and the birdlife.
