Great getaway

The house exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean, spacious and a large deck. It was great to fish from the pier, caught a lot of fish. Easy access for kayaks. We enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the location. Ping pong table, darts and other indoor activities available in the house.

Peaceful

Great access to the lake. Fishing was excellent. We sat on the bench on the pier and watched the loons. The house was beautiful and kitchen well stocked with utensils. It was a great way to disconnect for a much needed vacation

Excellent view & comfy furniture on porch and fireside patio

Nicely equipped kitchen, plenty of towels. Great Lake views Very difficult to negotiate lower path to lake and launch the kayaks. Very steep and rough. House is on a steep hill. Steps near the top are fine. Great fire pit with view in front of house.

Family fun

Beautiful Semi-Secluded

Overall we enjoyed our stay! We loved the view, deck, dock, and fire pit. Armed with bug spray and long sleeves we enjoyed the fire pit a few nights. One person raven slept on one of the futons and thought it was quite comfortable. During our time we fished and paddled. Only negative is the driveway if you are towing a boat, tricky to navigate. Kitchen has all the basics you may need.

Disappointing - Don’t Rent With Vacasa!

Reserved over two months early unaware the rental was a Vacasa rental instead of a VRBO. Day before our trip, the property becomes unavailable due to a maintenance issue. They wouldn’t even tell us what the maintenance issue was. Vacasa’s very poorly trained relocation team proceeded to “help” us choose another place by showing us a “comparable” rental but then they sent us to a completely different place due to a glitch in their app. The place they sent us was not even remotely comparable. It was a basement in the deep woods and had worms all over the carpet. Then they charged us more fees than VRBO did when we originally booked. The only positive is they gave us most…not all…most of our money back since we did not stay more than 16 hours at the replacement place. This house really looked beautiful. We truly wish we could have seen it! I strongly suggest NOT booking a Vacasa house!

Beautiful and peaceful place!

Very clean and beautiful house! The house fully stocked and filled with amenities. We had a wonderful stay before Memorial Day weekend. The lake is excellent for fishing and very peaceful. Definitely recommend! Thank you for sharing your property!

Charming Getaway

Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try.
