One bit of change advised me by Vrbo:
Vrbo now collects from you the Wisconsin State and Sauk County and Town of Merrimac tax of 12.5%.
The taxes are on the room rate only...per night.

Unit 4 is perched amongst a canopy of oak and birch trees - coffee on the balcony in the company of leaves and branches over 2-stories from the ground! Unit 4 is one of eight condominiums in a building nestled amongst a mature birch/oak forest with glimpses over the Lake Wisconsin valley. Casual, whimsical, bright furnishing. Italian ceramic floor in bath. New step-in rainfall shower. Woodburning stove insert in the original, beautiful, stone fireplace. Small firepit outside for quiet summer/fall eves; or hearty-folks roasting s'mores in winter.
Lovely, oiled-teakwood laminate floors LR and Hall - new faux-wood laminate in kitchen and bedrooms. You may find yourself resting on a pillowcase embroidered by my Cornish grandmother; or snuggled under a quilt made of squares of men's suit material; or find pencil drawings sent from the trenches of WWI from grandpa Pengelly (Tom) to grandma Pengelly (Olivia) in Cornwall.
Poke about...little surprises all over.
AND...and whole bass fiddle case of books presiding over the living room!

Wildlife sightings - deer, turkey, raccoon, owl, and birds of all sorts fly over or walk through these remarkable surrounds. Marvelous earthrise and earthsets. I think the trees up here talk.

Parfrey's Glen official entrance is a 20-minute walk away. Devil's Lake is a 10-minute ride. Devil's Head Ski/Golf Resort is 200 yards down Bluff Road. Quaint Merrimac FREE ferry (seasonal). Cascade Mountain Ski/Snowboarding or Wollersheim Winery/Sauk City - 20-minute ride. Attraction notebook available in unit.

There are several new distilleries under construction in Baraboo...and Vintage Brewery is up and going in nearby Sauk City/Prairie du Sac area.

Plenty of QUIET. Noise restriction after 11p. You could write your book here! Remarkable views. Friendly condo neighbors.

We allow 2-4 hours between guests for proper cleaning/disinfecting. My hope is to meet you upon arrival -will be masked/fully vaccinated.
Noise restriction after 10p. There are several resident families amongst our 8 condos...the condo underneath #4 has owner visits once or so a month.
NO NO NO NO SMOKING EVER! Even on the balcony - smoke travels. Find spots closer to the forest surrounding us.

Absolutely beautiful place! Very close to Devils Lake and the Wisconsin Dells, as well as downtown Baraboo! Location is great and in a secluded wooded area. Lesleigh was incredible and we got an entertaining and helpful tour of the place when we got there. My friends and I had a wonderful time and will be coming back should we be vactioning in the area again! Thank you!! :)

Lesleigh was superb from the very beginning with communication about an error with the arrival date to days before our arrival. On the day of arrival she was there waiting for us and gave us a thorough walk through of the unit. The unit itself was cozy and well appointed with everything one could need. Will be back! A Woodland Wonderland

Stayed for a long weekend and had a great stay in Lesleigh's woodland wonderland! Lesleigh was a welcoming host, we appreciated her greeting and tour as soon as we arrived. The unit was clean and sunny with hidden treasures everywhere. It was close to Devil's Lake and downtown Baraboo, perfectly central to all activities. Would love to return and highly recommend!

The house is much cuter than the pictures - that's kind of rare! Lots of details in the decors and designs - many interesting little things you can explore and look at. Very roomy for a 4-people stay. Super quiet and cozy. Very closed to Devils' Lake which was why we were there!

Great time!

We stayed here for easy access to Devils Lake and the Dells. It worked great for what we needed and we enjoyed the peace and quiet it provided for the brief times we were there. We had our 4 children with us. I was concerned about our 3 and 4 year old not messing with all the decor. It was a bit of a challenge, but Lesleigh seemed very laid back and my older children enjoyed exploring all the interesting books and art.
