Methuen Methuen Memorial Music Hall Hotels

"Booked this hotel for the hot tub. When we got there it was empty except for very green algae in what tiny bit of water was left in the bottom. Broken bricks and yellow tape around it. Had not been usable in quite a while, yet no notice of this before hand. We were on the 6 floor, and elevator down button was broken, with no notice of this. We waited quite a while before pressing up button to get an elevator. When I informed front desk, he was aware and said repair was on its way. They did come and “repair “ ( put the up button there and taped off where the up button had been). Other reason we picked this hotel was the airport shuttle. Had to be at the airport by 5 am. Asked about reserving a time of about 4:30 and was told no reservations and it was usually really busy so come down early. So instead of sleeping till 4, we had to get up at 3. We got the kids up and made it downstairs in time to not be able to get on the 3:40 shuttle as it was full! Had to wait in the lobby till 4 for the next one. Not overly impressed with this hotel. Won’t stay there again."

"We flew into the airport and called for the shuttle bus. After a while, we received a call from the hotel. Apparently, the driver was waiting for us, but we just did not see the shuttle. Instead of driving off, they made the effort to locate us. That was much appreciated. Then upon arrival, the staff was very friendly. Even though it was almost closing time, we were able to order a light meal from the restaurant. Try the clam chowder, it's delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will stay here if ever again in Boston."

"Upon arrival the people at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and fresh. We ate at the Social and the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Food was delicious, superbly prepared and very fresh ingredients. The shower was great, plenty of hot water and pressure, check out was easy and staff was great. We definitely would stay again if we are in the area, easy in/ out to downtown Boston. "

"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff.. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also went to The Tavern located in the hotel for dessert at the end of the day, which was also very good. Great location. Would definitely stay here again"
