Overall we enjoyed our stay — the location was great. However, communication could have been much better. We didn’t realize you could pay to check in early until about 20 minutes before we arrived, so we paid an extra $60. At the desk, we were told our room would be ready in 15 minutes, but it ended up taking about an hour, and there was no refund since the fee is based on how early you check in, not when the room is actually ready.
Staff also seemed a bit annoyed with us. We understand the residents come first, but as paying guests, it felt like there was a disconnect. We know it’s a new location and they’re still working out the kinks, so it’s just something to keep in mind.
