Overall the apartment and our stay was pleasant. Building as a whole was a bit dated, but the condo was recently renovated.The condo was relatively clean, despite the abundance of long-black hairs. The vaccuum wasn't functional, so it made clean up a bit tricky.The Condo is located right on the beach, which is convenient, however, this particular unit has no beach view. There is a view of The Diplomat Beach Resort shipping docks and dumpsters. The Diplomat starts their shipping and receiving at 7am everyday, which can be a bit noisy. It didn't necessarily bother us, as our young children were already up at that point, but I could see how this would be annoying if you wanted to sleep in.The owners of the other condos are generally nice and welcoming. However, there are a few who do not like vacationers and renters. Owners get very territorial over the community lounge chairs by the pool. Even though it is written (and posted everywhere) in their Condo rules, the hoarding of chairs at this place is on a whole nother level.The reserving of chairs is almost a morning ritual for most owners, even thou most won't end up using the chairs at any point throughout the day, they want to make sure that there more chairs reserved than needed if they so choose to use it. It's equally comical and annoying.Publix is only is a 5 min walk away.Anays was quick to respond, and provided some beach toys, chairs, an umbrella and a cooler, which was a nice touch.We would return.
