The room was clean and spacious. Although there was no reception desk, checking in and out of the room was easy, convenient, and quick. The hotel is conveniently located with many shops and restaurants nearby, and the beach is just across the road. I highly recommend this place.

Although the rooms look nice and fresh and the location is great, there is a big catch here: the management. During our week in Miami, the weather was unusually cold, around 38°F at night, and the heat in our room did not work at all. Instead of management coming to confirm the issue, they kept sending a maintenance guy who did not speak English, looked at the unit, said “I will fix it now,” and left. He came 5 times with no result. After every visit, management emailed saying maintenance reported it was working fine. I even recorded a video showing there was no air flow and no sound from the unit, but they kept replying that everything was fine and implied we wanted the room extremely hot. Not true. We were freezing and slept in hoodies. Phone staff were also rude and not helpful. Second issue was the motion sensor lights. They shut off every couple minutes unless you get up and move around. It was exhausting, especially because the windows face a wall so there is basically no natural light. Management claimed there was a switch to disable the sensor, but their own maintenance guy confirmed it was not working and there was nothing he could do. Yet they still blamed us. After multiple calls and emails we gave up since we were there on a business trip. Water pressure was extremely low too, but I did not even bother reporting it. Very disappointed. Less email back and forth and more action would have made a huge difference.

Excellent property it’s clean and if you need to get in contact with someone they will answer the phone immediately and the best thing is your close to everything walking distance to the beach definitely love this stay perfect for the price.

Casa Sobe is in a great location on Collins Ave. It’s easy to find, close to the beach and great dining options. The hotel is small but rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. The use of a key code for entry is seamless in checking in and out of the hotel. It is quiet even though it is located on a busy street. The beds are adequately comfortable but nothing plush but most definitely clean. The bathrooms are large enough and well appointed. We had a problem with regulating the air temperature and would have liked to have access to open a window or have an overhead fan in the room. For a short stay, it’s a great value in South Beach. Motek and Blue Lavender are great places for food and coffee and easy walking distance from Casa Sobe.

STAY AWAY! I strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. Our stay was defined by a complete lack of basic amenities and some of the most unprofessional management I have ever encountered. 1. Uninhabitable Conditions & Dishonesty Upon arrival, the unit was 55 degrees inside. When we contacted customer support regarding the lack of heat, we were told—unbelievably—that "nobody in Miami has heat." Not only is this factually false, but it was used as an excuse to ignore a basic habitability issue. 2. Terrible Customer Service The management team was consistently rude, dismissive, and ultimately hung up on us multiple times. After initially promising a refund due to the lack of heating, they ended up denying it entirely. Even the Expedia rep we worked with noted that the property staff was "extremely rude" to them while trying to mediate. 3. Poor Value & Logistics • The Unit: The space is extremely sterile and uninviting. It has two cheap beds, a small TV, and a fridge. It feels more like a basic, low-end dorm room than a professional rental. • Access & Parking: Parking is a nightmare and costs an additional $40 per night. Furthermore, actually accessing the unit is difficult and poorly designed. The pictures are only for a couple of the street facing units. Bottom line: avoid a nightmare and stay away from Casa Sobe.

The location is is great and close to the beach. The room was clean, and spacious. The only complaints are it was 55 degrees outside and the heater did not work. Also the wifi did not work. I called and asked what the issue was and they said they are working on it. However it never worked.

It’s rare to stay in a hotel where you leave wanting to give the worst review you can, but sadly on this occasion we have to. Booked to stay here 2 nights, we arrived at 8pm to check in after an incredibly long flight & discovered the elevator was out of service and we would need to carry our bags up 2 flights of stairs. No prior warning was given about the works, and we were travelling with people who had mobility issues. To top it off, our rooms were right outside the works they were doing on the elevator shaft which continued until 9.30pm for both nights. I contacted the supposed ‘24 hour help desk’ to ask when the works would end and got no reply. The next day we discovered a few things in our room were broken so I contacted them again, still no reply. Eventually I had a phone call from a very rude member of staff, ending with her hanging up on me. The customer service at the hotel is non-existent - don’t expect to have any issues resolved during your trip with any competency. Any additional communication via Expedia was entirely AI. We travelled as a group and booked 3 of the same room category. 2 of the rooms were incredibly dark with no natural light whatsoever, one of the rooms had 3 very large windows and was incredibly bright. Seems to be pot lock whether you get a nice room or very dark room - they clearly haven’t got their room categories marketed correctly. In some positive feedback, the free sun beds on South Beach is a lovely touch. Avoid staying.
