AWFUL. Do NOT stay here! My booking was paid in full only for me to show up at 2:00am with no room available. The manager was such an arrogant dic$. Expedia was WONDERFUL in trying to resolve the issue. I witnessed the manager hang up on Expedia several times. After I used the restroom, I realized we dodged a bullet. The place is nasty! Save your money.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was very poor. The facilities were limited, and the breakfast was bad. Even though we paid extra for an ocean view room, the ocean was only visible through a small window in the corner

Even though we arrived over an hour after the check in time, our room was not ready/had not been cleaned. We waited another 45 minutes to check in and get keys to our room. This is was difficult following a long travel day. Hotel location, view of the beach, and balcony were great.

Never ever again!!! If I could give minus 10 stars I would do. Room cleaning is not a daily standard here. After three days and five requests for the room to be cleaned, as the carpet was already dirty upon our arrival, the room was cleaned on two days. Then they stopped cleaning. After asking several times, we saw the cleaning lady in the next room. We had the sign for daily cleaning hanging on the doorknob every day! She didn't clean our room. We witnessed guests waiting for hours for their rooms. Nothing is prepared for flight attendants, who don't arrive spontaneously! Then they arrive at 6:30 pm and the cleaning lady is still in there room. So much for cleanliness! Only one channel works on the TV, in Spanish. It's impossible to select any other channel. Nothing works. The elevator broke down on the first day and wasn't repaired until the very end. The wait for the remaining elevator was correspondingly long. Breakfast is the same every day and unimaginative. The fresh fruit and yogurt advertised on the website are a pipe dream. Fresh water is only available in the morning at breakfast. During the day, only stale water was available in the canister, which was not refilled even after repeated requests. The hotel is outdated, very run-down, and substandard. The manager was extremely rude and only offered excuses. I have never seen such a poorly managed hotel. Don't let your vacation turn into a nightmare!

Property was poorly run, I do not recommend staying here. Rooms and property overall were dirty, cleaning staff were constantly cleaning rooms into the late evenings keeping guests up. They were loud and unfriendly. Our room didn't have a shower curtain, AC didn't work, room and hallways were dirty, had to keep requesting to get clean towels, garbage emptied etc. To get a new pool towel, you have to wait in a lengthy line at the front desk to turn in a paper ticket to get 2 towels then again to return them. Every night there were at least 40+ guests in the lobby late at night waiting to get into their rooms. One of the elevators didn't work and there was no service elevator, so guests were constantly waiting for elevators to get to their rooms. The cleaning staff were filling up elevators. We asked about taking the stairs and were told we didn't have access. The breakfast was ridiculous. It's white bread, juice, coffee and oatmeal. This property needs new management.

Did not check in till 539 pm even though we were there at 230 pm.I realize 4 pm chrvk in in but we arrived early.They said would get us in .A large line developed and they gave them rooms first.I showed my lisence 4 times we missed dinner arrangement s ..elevator constantly not working ,we were on 6th floor …..No hot water intermittently all week -no hot water New Year’s Eve.Gym closed New Year’s Day We should at least get a day compensated thanks

There were people sleeping in the lobby because the rooms were not ready when we got there at 10:00 pm The staff was threatening to call the police on people as they were trying to check in after waiting 8 hours for there room to be ready, there was a bouncer kicking people out - we finally got in our room at 2:00 am - no pillow cases bed not made-the guests were irate - it was scary.

“Go ahead, and keep complaining.” Those were the last words the hotel manager, August, said to me on the final day of my stay. If you want a hotel whose photos actually match the room you’ll be staying in — don’t stay here. If you want Wi-Fi that justifies the resort fee — don’t stay here. If you expect breakfast items to be replenished after guests use unsanitary serving methods — don’t stay here. If you want timely room cleaning and fresh towels — don’t stay here. If you expect hot running water at any time of day — don’t stay here. If you want management that holds itself and staff accountable — don’t stay here. If you want an elevator with a current inspection — don’t stay here. If you want staff who genuinely care about guest comfort — don’t stay here. If you want a hotel without an F rating from the BBB — don’t stay here. All of these issues are fixable. However, when I attempted to raise concerns and requested a manager, staff refused to locate him. I eventually found his office myself. August provided his phone number and assured me nothing else would “fall through the cracks.” It did. When service continued to decline below Motel 6 standards, he never responded to my message. Later, when I saw him in the lobby and expressed concern, he dismissed me and avoided eye contact. This hotel needs management capable of handling all guests — even the “difficult” ones like myself. I chose this hotel for its Art Deco history, but unfortunately the hospitality fell far short.

Realicé una reserva confirmada para una habitación Deluxe King Size con vista parcial al océano, con hora de check-in establecida a las 4:00 p. m. No obstante, al llegar al hotel, se me informó que la habitación no se encontraba disponible, por lo que tuve que esperar hasta aproximadamente las 6:00 p. m. para poder ingresar, luego de un día de viaje. Adicionalmente, al momento de asignarme la habitación, esta no correspondía a lo reservado, ya que se me entregó una habitación Queen con dos camas, categoría claramente distinta y de menor valor a la confirmada en mi reserva. Ante esta situación, me acerqué al front desk para solicitar una aclaración y expresar que la habitación asignada no coincidía con mi reserva. Sin embargo, se me indicó que, de desear un cambio a la habitación correcta, debía esperar aproximadamente dos horas adicionales, lo cual resultaba poco razonable considerando el retraso previo en el check-in. Considero importante señalar que tanto el retraso prolongado en el check-in como la asignación incorrecta de la habitación, sumado a la falta de una solución oportuna en recepción, representan un incumplimiento directo de la reserva confirmada, y no se alinean con los estándares de servicio que se esperan de un hotel de su categoría. Comparto esta situación con la expectativa de que sea revisada cuidadosamente y de que el hotel pueda tomar las medidas necesarias para compensar adecuadamente los inconvenientes ocasionados.

El hotel está en mal estado, las fotos que ponen son muy engañosas, no reflejan la realidad. Al hotel le dan muy poco mantenimiento. No hubo agua caliente ni un solo día. El personal se desentiende, hablas con ellos y te tiran a loco y no cumplen lo que prometen. No iban a hacer la limpieza diaria, les falta mucho personal. Hablamos con varios managers, incluido el general manager, y descaradamente te dicen que te puedes quejar lo que quieras, no van a arreglar nada. Aún así, se dan el lujo de cobrar el resort fee. Me tocó presenciar a varios huéspedes quejándose de las mismas cosas. Pésimo servicio. No se dejen llevar por las fotos. Jamás volvería y jo se lo recomiendo a nadie. No tenían la habitación lista para el check in, aún horas después del tiempo que dicen.

Déçu par le petit déjeuner, de gros soucis d’ascenseur pendant notre séjour. L’eau de la douche très souvent fraîche. Pas de chauffage dans la chambre et les températures sont tombées à 16 degrés celcius dans la chambre quand il faisait froid dehors. Quand on demandait du papier toilette ou de changer les serviette de bain, personne ne passait. Ne pas être à coter des vides ordures car le bruits est assez impressionnant. Chambre rustique. Sinon bien situé sur Miami Beach avec les transports et l’accès à la plage.

My family’s stay at the Sherry Frontenac was a disaster right from check-in.. I booked 3 rooms for my family and was checked in 2.5hrs late no explanation and not a care from anyone.. There is 2 sets of elevators but only one was working so it was super busy. Had to walk stairs with luggage due to it breaking. There was garbage in the stairwell everyday it was super disgusting. My stay was 4 nights not once was my room tidied or towels changed.. I had to ask for new towels and for my garbage to be dumped. The gentleman @ the front desk & the manager both raised their voice to me and other guests. I was nothing but polite to them. It was an uncomfortable stay for me & my family. Now I have to wait 72hrs to see if I will get a refund. The start of our Christmas vacation was not how we wanted to start our trip. I have reached out 2x to both the hotel & Expedia with no result.

This was the garbage in the stairwell for 2 days.

This is the table in my room not very clean.

This is breakfast one morning where the pigeons get too eat as well.. No staff to clean tables.

My room was clean. We had an amazing view. The staff was very nice. Had an abundance of amenities. We had a little hiccup with check-in, i wish the staff/ management was a little bit more strightforward with the time the room was available we could've been out exploring instead of lingering in the lobby the whole day. The hotel needs more/new beach chiars to make going to the beach a more relaxing stay.

The price was way too high for the condition of the property. Rooms were outdated and looked really creepy. The door had a huge gap underneath. The facility only had one working elevator for each side of the property.
