“We stayed here for 3 nights and unfortunately it was not worth the cost. The property is extremely remote and located down a gravel road.  The biggest issue was the smell inside the home. It had a very strong musky odor throughout our stay, and we actually had to purchase fragrance spray to make it more tolerable. The bedding was also very uncomfortable — the top sheet felt rough and almost like cheesecloth against the skin. For two adults staying three nights, we were only provided with 3……

“This rental was quite a find! I had several questions before our stay, and Woods was very quick to respond and was very accommodating. We had a group of 4 adult females from 54-80 years old. The rental is quite large, which you can't easily see from the photos. It's a splendid space to enjoy and spread out. The grounds are gorgeous and back up to the racing grounds... we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a race going on, right from the fence at the edge of the property! When I say this……

“The house is private, modern and spacious with all of the necessary amenities and had a really well equipped kitchen for cooking in. There is a lovely little hiking trail just down the hill from the house and Harper's Ferry is not far and has countless outdoor activities- (including a brand new bungee jumping site) and lots of great place to eat.The River Country Store is even closer and is a great little stop to pick up food basics and gifts.
