Gilboa

“Last minute booking. Owner was wonderful. Cleaner, very nice. Clean and private location needed for family meeting. Not hard to get to. Relatives from out of the area, found it with ease. The area has very spotty internet connections. Once on cabin internet, it was just fine, in and outside of the cabin. Stove plate burners, propane grill, a good sized microwave and counter top convection oven.”

“Not the house we had hoped for. First off, theres no lake view! Its a small swamp across the street! Day 1, we got locked out after unloading the car. Went to make dinner in oven; looks like it was never cleaned. gross dirty oven. Noticed theres only 1 wine glass and 2 drinking glasses in the entire house. Rocks glass also had a crack in it. Frying pan had heavy scratches on the non-stick coating; unusable for breakfast. Living room rug was stained and sticky. Tried to play some of the board……

“A major factor in my lower rating was encountering a mouse wandering around the kitchen at night. I immediately informed the host, whose response was, "How did that get there?" and that they would "inform the team." Unfortunately, I received no further follow-up regarding the issue. The next communication was the automated checkout message the following day. That said, the host was kind, and the instructions for the stay were clear and easy to understand. One checkout requirement I didn't……

“We stayed one night in Mirror Haus 2 and really enjoyed the unique experience. The suite was very clean and set up like a small hotel room. The shower has both a rain head and a handheld sprayer, which I appreciated since I am not a big rain shower fan. The mirror design makes the space feel almost 360 degrees connected to the outdoors during the day while still private. At night, with lights on, you will want to close the curtains if changing. The surrounding property is beautiful with forest……
