It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had staying in Midland Texas. The room was dirty and the restroom was grimy behind the door. When attempted to shower the night of check in, there was no hot water. We let the water run to see if it would get hot eventually. The next morning, we needed to get ready for the day and again no hot water. The front desk girl had changed shift that night and there was another girl there. I approached her to let her know there was no hot water in the room. She types a few things on the computer and then gets two keys without saying anything while I’m standing there. No apologies for the inconvenience or any customer service skills. She gets the keys and puts them on the small counter. I look at her and look at the keys and politely ask her what they keys are for. She is very rude and very short, and says you want hot water right? In my head I’m quite understanding because she just gave me new set of keys. So, I questioned her and wondered how or what was supposed to happen. So she says, I don’t have a maintenance guy. If you want hot water you can go check in this room.. (still being very rude and very short) So I ask her, what if there’s no hot water there? Well then you can do whatever you want. I asked her if I would we have to fulfill the days we booked if we weren’t satisfied. She didn’t respond. I walked away so distraught with her behavior and poor communication skills. This employee did not care about the customer.
