"We had a lovely 7 night stay at the Villa, it had everything we needed and more. A lovely quiet area with shops, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Very easy to get an Uber and there is a taxi rank by the shop nearby if you want to get out and about. There is a large carrefour only 10 minutes away by taxi which was good value and had a large selection of good fresh food. There is a large gas BBQ on the upper terrace which was big enough to cook for our group of 7 which we used almost everyday, it was nice and clean and cooked very nicely. The Villa has large rooms and all are air conditioned. The terrace and balcony was lovely to sit and have breakfast or dinner whilst overlooking the view and sea. The pool is a good size with a nice size pool terrace where you can relax. The beach nearby is small but nice, the better beach is it at La Cala which is a very short taxi ride. We visited the market at La Cala which I would highly recommend, it is very large with lots of good items for sale. We wandered down to La Cala seafront after for a drink and some lunch. The only negative we found was we felt the floors could have been a little cleaner inside, and some of the appliances could do with updating. Other than that a wonderful holiday and we would return"

"Great check in by Ruben once again. Our studio apartment was spotlessly clean and had all you need in the kitchen. They even have washing pods, dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths, coffee, salt, pepper and tea towels. Requested a tennis court view apartment which we got. The staff are just the best. From reception, pool life guards, cleaning and maintenance staff are so nice. A new company have taken over the on-site restaurant, Azura, where the food is outstanding, very reasonably priced and staff once again are lovely to chat to especially Patricia. Can’t wait to return very soon."
Luxurious Beach Villa ‘Oasis’ in La Cala de Mijas

"Excellent communication with the host on the run up to the trip. I had organised the villa as part of golfing break for my husband and 7 of his friends. Location was excellent for access to La Cala golf (approx 15/20 minutes away). Views from the villa were lovely, looking straight out to sea with plenty of outdoor space and direct access to the beach. They enjoyed the pool and the bbq and were very comfortable during their stay. They did struggle to locate an iron as it wasn't with the ironing board. The host showed my husband where it was on check out. It would probably be helpful to keep them together to help guests out. They did see a number of ants (as mentioned in other reviews) but it is hot and possibly to be expected, (although it may be worthwhile putting some pest traps in place). Overall a lovely trip was had by all and we would recommend."

"Stayed as a group of friends and had a lovely stay at Stephen and Andrea’s property. Had a lot of facilities, the bar was a lovely extra touch. Communication was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best trip, thank you for your hospitality"

"The accommodation was as described. It was very clean and had all you needed to arrive and start your vacation. Very clean bedding and towels. Air conditioning in the bedrooms along with ceiling fans enabled a great nights sleep. The kitchen was very well fitted out ready to cook meals or just snacks.Within a very short walk is a lovely swimming pool and the Sussex bar to relax with drinks. We had no requirement for parking but it is available. We arranged through the owner Colm to have a taxi meet us at the airport and also on the return. The service was very good and a good price.Finally like thank Colm who is very easy to contact and is willing to answer any questions you may have. A lovely place stay."
