Lovely Property in Great Location , but check in process was terrible!
Overall the property was as advertised. Very modern , spacious , well equipped in a great location within 6 minute walk of restaurants and bars of La Cala de Mijas. However Vivi Homes and the person I was speaking to for check were not helpful. Firstly I asked if we could drop our bags at the property just a couple of hours before check in . I was told no because cleaners would be in the property and I was directed to a bag drop place in Fuengirola which was not convenient. I asked if I could pick the keys up early and was told no , it would have to be between 4-8pm. I explained we were playing golf and said it would be after 9pm . They then told me that was going to cost me another €25 despite the key being held in a lock box on a chain link fence at the top corner of the property with no assistance. This is basically a blatant rip off to extract more money without any additional assistance! I have stayed in many properties before and this is the first where the property manager was less than helpful and asked for more money. Lastly the air conditioning didn't work and we couldn't find instructions to work. Will find somewhere that knows what customer service is next time! :-( Just to add this is the first time I have written a bad review!
