This place was advertised on hotel.com as a hotel. It is a converted probably two bedroom apartments on the third floor of a building that now is a small hallway with four rooms in it there is no reception there is no hotel infrastructure there is no lobby there is no hotel experience. You have to do a cumbersome self check in and you're on your own until you leave. This place should not be advertised as a hotel it is a b&b.

Unusual but Good

This was kind of an unusual hotel. It was part of the third floor of an office building. That being said, our room was great, and the person at the front desk was very helpful. The location was very close to the Galleria and the Cathedral.

If you want the 'Hotel experience' with a 24 open reception, concierge and restaurant. Then this is not the place for you. However if you want a comfortable bed, a great shower, safe location within easy walking distance of the main sights then this is the place for you! Super clean, great facilities in the room, safe, tea and coffee, minibar and tv with Netflix etc on it. I will say finding the place and getting in was not initially obvious. It was only thanks to previous reviews and looking at the street view on google maps that I found it. The door looks like the door to a residential building or office block. You have to look on the list by the door for the AH-Duomo Signature and call them on the intercom to open the main door (after check in you get a fob for the door). Then walk down a corridor, take the lift up to the third floor. Turning left out the lift you find the door to the Hotel. The reception desk is only staffed for a few hours every day but they were really helpful when I spoke to them and they will look after your luggage for you during these hours if you need them to. For me this was the perfect place for exploring the city for a short trip. For a solo female it felt safe and comfortable. Although it did take a minute for me to find the blinds to cover the windows but once I did it was a great black out blind!

One Day in Milan!

Anna is the best! She really is! Very helpful and understanding of a guest needs! Location: although it is well located in relation to Duomo and Cathedral, the actual building and place are a bit hard to find. Arriving late might be an issue for a guest. It is literally a place to sleep and that’s all! So that’s what you need to expect!

I checked in outside of normal business hours and the staff was very helpful chatting with me on Whatsapp. The hotel was in a slightly unusual setting, but the room was very clean and new. A great place to stay for an overnight or short visit. Close to the Duomo but not in a very lit street.
