「My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. 「Beautiful home! The family and i thought this place came with a hot tub but unfortunately we misunderstood this (it was our fault) We loved the view and how kind of secluded it is from other houses. We reached the owner and they were so quick to respond to any of our questions. The kitchen had almost everything needed pots, pans, utentils and even seasonings, if youre a coffee lover like me they have plenty of that. The stove top was not as clean, it seemed like the people that clean didnt try...

「Kirk’s place was exactly what we wanted. He was very responsive, had an issue with water and he fixed it right away. Everything was wonderful. The only drawback was very little water pressure. The hot tub was nice and hot and the cabin was very well stocked! We will be back! 」

「I really enjoyed my stay at this cozy cabin. I had a black bear show up unexpectedly but it was awesome to see it in the wild. It sniffed around and left peacefully ha. The cabin was nice and quiet while still a close drive to downtown Asheville. There's also a really nice hiking trail just up the road. 」

We loved looking at the stars from the hot tub, playing games, eating breakfast out on the deck, and eating at many of the wonderful local restaurants (Ole Guacamole and Blue Ridge Biscuit Kitchen were amazing!) There are so many pretty parks and ways to enjoy nature as a family. We hope to return ASAP, highly highly recommend!」
