The Retreat
This 8,600-square foot mansion is 8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms. The Retreat brings forth a luxurious, family-friendly feeling in every room. Built with delicate and dedicated craftsmanship in every detail and garnished for a kings and queens. The Retreat will render incomparable memories. Ideal for corporate outings, golf excursions, family gatherings, or even spiritual retreats for two, four people, or an entire family/group.

Master bedroom is the only room on main floor that has a kingsize bed and it has its own master bathroom with a half bath also located on main floor.

There are two full size beds and a love seat size sofa in the room above the garage which is technically the basement.

The 6 other bedrooms are on the second floor and basement and all have 1 queen size bed each.

There are two sofas in the main living room and two more sofas and love seats in the basement.

There are two dining rooms with a dining table in each room with a total of 14 dining chairs.
There are 3 game tables.
There a total of 12 flat screen televisions.
There are a total of 4 couches.
There are 16 arm chairs/love seats.
There are 2 big desks and 8 side desks.
There are 2 patio tables.
There is an amazing pool table and poker room.
There is an outdoor screen in, enclosed covered cigar terrace that accommodates 8-10 guests.
The home is also equipped with a barbecue grill that is connected to a propane line, no need to mess with tanks.

The home is in a gated community and is very private, but not isolated. The views from the back deck are absolutely wonderful.
The property overlooks Brights Creek golf course. Note that there are several nice golf courses in the area but you can play a round of golf on our amazing championship course (designed by Tom Fazio) and also enjoy a delightful meal at our onsite restaurant.

The interior of the home is exceptionally well done, with quality woodwork and high end furnishings. Every bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom which is perfect for large gatherings. The billiards/media room is spectacular. Lots of attention to detail everywhere.

There are plenty of tempting trails and excursions to take you off the beaten path at Bright’s Creek. With more than 4,700 acres of pristine landscape in Western North Carolina’s coveted Blue Ridge Mountains, the opportunities for exploration and discovery are boundless. Our extensive network of hiking trails is adorned with dozens of creeks and rivers, stunning views, rare rock formations, and limitless flora, fauna, and visual delights.

Whichever direction you choose, you will find a new adventure a waiting. Some of our favorites are Tryon International Equestrian Center, local vineyards, The Biltmore Estate, Flat Rock Play House, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure, & Saluda.

We encourage our guests to get out and explore our nearby areas and attractions.
There are some of the best biking and hiking trails real close by.

Newly managed Bright's Creek located on signature golf course is the way to experience the scenic rural foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains right in Western North Carolina. Your lodge has a wonderful deck where you can enjoy views of the golf course and mountains.

Please note: Bicycles, running and walking on the golf course or cart path is prohibited! You are welcome to use the roads within the community and our hiking trails.
Hiking Trails-As you will probably want to enjoy these beautiful surroundings, we have provided Bright’s Creek community Hiking Guides. NOTE: Directions to the trails referenced in the guide begin from our Bright’s Creek Member Lodge - 335 Clubhouse Lane Mill Spring, NC28756. Maps and directions are available at the front desk.
Bright's Creek Grill: Serving Lunch every Wednesday Sunday from 11:00am 3:00pm and Dinner Friday Saturday from 5:00 9:00pm. Our Grill Staff will be happy to reserve your table for dinner. Lunch is customarily a walkin situation. To ensure you have a dinner reservation, please contact our Grill at 828.694.4514. Directions to the Grill- From the Front Lobby, turn left. Across the elevator you will see stairs, go down the stairs, and the Grill will be on your right. Enjoy!

Bright's Creek Golf Course: Available for play Wednesday Sunday. If anyone in your party would like to golf, we encourage them to call the Bright’s Creek Golf Shop directly to set this up in advance. Our Golf Staff will be happy to let you know our rates and available tee times. They can be reached at 828.694.4510. Appropriate attire is required in the dining room and during golf.

Tennis & Pickleball: Tennis and Pickleball is available to play from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Courts must be reserved. Racket rental and balls are available at the Bright’s Creek Lodge. Please call 828.393.3047 to reserve your court.

Bright’s Creek Equestrian Center- Pony rides and trail rides are available through the Equestrian Center. Please contact them directly at 828-606-8070 to make an appointment. All reservations do require a 24-hour notice and proper attire, such as jeans and closed toe shoes.

Outside the Gates- There are so many fun activities outside the gate at from Bright’s Creek that we can help you with.

Shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks, and dress jeans (well pressed jeans without holes) are considered appropriate during dinner. Tank tops, tee shirts, fishnet tops, cutoffs, sweatpants, warm-up suits, bathing suits, tennis shorts, short shorts or other athletic shorts are not permitted.
Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, mid-length shorts and blouses are considered appropriate attire during lunch and golf. Dresses, skirts, slacks, blouses, and dress jeans (well pressed jeans without holes) are considered appropriate during dinner. Halter tops, tee shirts, fishnet tops, bathing suits, sweatpants, warm-up suits, tennis dresses, athletic shorts, cut-offs and short shorts are not permitted.
