第一印象としては思ったより幹線道路沿いにあるなと思いましたが、宿の中はとても静か。昔の豪農のおうち（文化財）を改築したようです。 大浴場の景観も山側が見えるようにされています。スタッフの方々の気配りもとても良い印象でした。 夕食は質実剛健といった感じ。お野菜多めで見た目も美しく、お味も上品。 量控えめなのかなと思いきや、メインは赤身の新潟和牛をしっかりめに出してくださり、最後は美味しい白ごはんとけんちん汁。 おなかいっぱいでした。 朝食も種類が多いわけではないのですが、美味しい白ごはんとそのお供を中心に、ビュッフェスタイルでじゅうぶんなバリエーション。さらに席についたときに3種類から一品温かい主菜を選ばせてくれます。 ラウンジでも時間によってパティスリー、ソフトドリンク、日本酒などを無料で提供。 チェックアウト12時はとてもゆっくりできました。

フジロックフェスティバル後に、23時ごろチェックインしましたが、遅い時間なのに素敵なおもてなしでした。朝食は鯛の焼き魚。お風呂も露天風呂、サウナ付き。チェックアウト12時まで悠々過ごさせて頂きました。また、機会あれば宿泊したいと思います。

The place was really great even for the children, 4 and 6 years old. The people helped to organise our days activities with suggestions and helped with booking drives and so on. The children loved their stay there, the hot bath and the playroom, the garden and the snow.
