Lovely clean cottage, very central location and parking nearby too. Ideal location for getting out and exploring this beautiful part of the country. Dog friendly too which was the icing on the cake for us. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Handy having a parking space within 2 minutes of the cottage. A perfect place to stay for a couple, we would love to return here.

We loved it. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location. There were some nice little touches like some biscuits, some coffee (very welcome after a long journey and before unpacking)salt and pepper, toilet rolls, tea towels, etc. Need to be able bodied as the stairs are steep but overall, it is a lovely cottage and we are booking again for next September.

The location is superb. Literally steps away from all Porlock has to offer. The car park was safe and not an inconvenience at all as just across the road. The ship inn and The Castle pubs are a short stroll and provided a friendly welcome. We loved our walk which starts from the middle of the village to Porlock Weir across the Marshes and our trip to Dunster and visiting the castle. We found the cottage to be inviting and the beds super comfy. Perfect. Also great communication and arrival details. Thank you.
