Family Vacation

Nice relaxing trip for us. The house was clean with plenty of room for all 11 of us to spread out. The grand children enjoyed the bunk room at the top of the house as well as the pool. Plenty of bathrooms. Short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Home Close to the Beach

We had a wonderful time at the Palms Away home and it was only a 2 minute walk to the private beach. The home is located inside a safe gated community and is perfect for either just a couple or a large family of 14+. The home was nice and clean and also has a pool to cool off on warm days. Again, we had a great time and will definitely rent again.

Great stay!

We had so much fun at palms away. Right across the street from the ocean. It was so relaxing sitting in the beach chairs and enjoying the sound of the waves! House was great. We loved the option of the pool in the back while we grilled. The kids really enjoyed it! Beds were comfortable. It was a nice relaxing trip. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time at Palms Away! The house was the perfect size for our group of 11. Plenty of room to spread out! The house was in a great location, only a short walk to the private beach access. We could tell the house had been recently updated, which was nice. We really enjoyed our time there and plan to rebook for next summer!

Cute and Quiet

This house was cute and quiet when we visited in mid January. We were in town for a tennis tournament with a group of teenagers. The beds were firm. The water was hot. We really loved the ice maker and water in the door or the refrigerator since we had alot of water bottles to fill up every day. The kitchen was fully stocked with the items we needed for meals. The only disappointing part of the listing was that it was listed as a 5 bedroom / 4 bath plus the living room. We booked this location for the tennis courts on property and the space of the house. We did have to shuffle some rooms around since it wasn't as it was listed, but we made it work for the 3 nights that we were there.

Horrible experience!

Property was ABSOLUTELY NASTY! Feces in the pool house shower, feces smeared on the wall in one bedroom, black mold on the wall in the dining area, pool house bedroom was unusable due to the awful mold smell. Roaches in the floor, broken tile, broken front door, the list goes on and on. Contacted property management several times to clean and no one ever showed up. Pool pump was broken and the pool was filthy so completely unusable. Did receive some refund, however should have been given a complete refund due to the hepatitis and mold exposure in the house.

House was amazing! Inside was very clean, some trash outside around trash cans. Beds were comfortable and pool was so relaxing! Beach chairs were a bit rusty and outdated. Beach was close and perfect! Ample supplies for our weekend stay!

Spring Break/Wedding

Palms Away was a perfect place for our friends/family to spend Spring Break and the week leading up to our Wedding on the Beach! Pool isn't heated unless you request it 2 days in advance of check-in and is kinda pricey in my opinion and it doesn't get very much sunlight until late afternoon to want to sit around the pool. Maravilla is a beautiful community and has 2 other pools and hot tubs along with other amenities that are available to use! This property is within a quick 2 minute walk across Scenic Gulf Drive to the private beach access! The listing stated 5 bdrm 4 bath (which this property does have) but 1 bed/bath is located in the pool house(so like a mother in law suite) We made it work with our family and friends that were staying with us, but I was expecting all 5 beds/4 baths to be in the main living quarters. All-in-all Palms Away is the perfect property fpr any family/friends who are wanting to get together to have fun in the sun on Miramar Beach!

NEEDS WORK

It was convenient to beach. Grandkids loved pool. House was spacious. The A/C didn't work for 6 an half days on 2nd floor. It was very uncomfortable and inconvenient to family on 2nd floor. I hope that the home owner and property management takes the issues and solutions I sent them to heart and fix before the next family gets there.

Nice property

Over all I was happy with my experience with my stay, it was a little dirty in the kitchen and living room. But the sheets were clean and the pool was nice. Also it was a less than 5 minute walk to the beach, I would stay here again. Also the bikes in the photo weren't on the property. All issues mentioned in the previous review were fixed

Not as good as we thought

The home was not very clean, we had to actually go out and get cleaning products stains on bedding walls, mold in rooms on ceilings and killed a few roaches. Location is great; and really didn't mention that the one queen bed is a separate pool house.
