Nice location!

Location was nice. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was Amazon! Loved the share shed! The house was older and could use some repairs but was the perfect size for our family! Would recommend 100% for families!

Super cute, close to beach

The place was super cute and worked great for our family. We had 4 adults and 4 kids age range of 6years-6months. Plenty of space and we were close enough to walk daily to the beach.

Charming Cottage Near the Beach

Easy walk

Nice property inside, could use some cleaning around outside of property. Quick response from property manager with questions. Construction at current beach access, so makes for a longer walk to access beach. Super comfy couch and king bed. Appreciated the sharing shed for beach items and left some for future guests as well.

Only thing is that it doesn't get very dark at night perhaps it could use some blackout curtains. Also we noticed some pet hair under the couch pillows. Overall very satisfied.

The cottage was conveniently located a block from the beach, but away from traffic. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and yogurt shop. It was a great place for an early morning run. The cottage was amply supplied with linens and kitchen necessities. It was a great weekend get-away!

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Sol, and found it to be a nice house for the 4 of us. We were bummed that the beach access down Alamo street was under construction which made for a longer haul to the beach with two little ones. The shared pool was nice to have, but I am not sure I would rent a house again that provides a shared pool over a pool designated just for our house. Overall, I would recommend Emerald Sol!

Quaint Beach house

We loved the location of this property. We walked to pretty much everything. The house is cute, but needs a few updates here and there. If we had an issue, the property management team came out same day, that's awesome! The pool was prefect for our kids, there is a shallow wading area and then a deeper swimming side. The pool supply shed was very messy when we got there, I cleaned it up, and the pool guy who lives close by was very grateful! After that he made sure the pool was in pristine condition for us. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay. FYI, bring earplugs to sleep because there are 2 huge party houses on both sides of you.

Do not stay here

There would be nothing wrong with the home itself, but HUGE roaches came out every night. They came to spray some spray I use from Lowes. Next day, same thing. Then they tried to tell me they were “palmetto” bugs, as if that makes it any better. Who can sleep at night knowing huge bugs are crawling around? It’s pretty bad when you save for a vacation and it is an actual nightmare. The manager, Heather, was very sympathetic when she said she found out and moved us to a much nicer home. I was glad for her sympathy and moving us, but I do not recommend renting this home.

Reviewer Comments: The location to services & the beach was great.The size of the unit was perfect.We think someone had a dog on the couch, every time I sat on it my face would itch and my eyes swell! The constructionconstruction next door kept us from sitting outside most days due to noise. Street was a constant parade of vehicles. Would have gone elsewhere had we known about the construction. And we have to tolerate for 4 more weeks!

There were eight people that stayed and we managed only having 1 bathroom the entire week...we were a little scared about this! I would definitely like to try and rent the 2 houses together next time to be able and have pool access whenever instead of sharing the time with another family. I just feel like this would be more personal. But, overall, everything went well. The house is so close to the beach which is excellent! We rented a golf cart and were basically able to use it the whole week instead of driving car because everything we needed was pretty close. It was a relaxing and stress free week which was exactly what we were looking forward to having.

Great House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I never know what to write I will say what I would have liked to read before our stay. We loved this house. It was in a great location and very close to the beach. We had a wonderful time! The pool is one of the best pools we've been in! A few things to consider when choosing this house:- while the beach access is very close, it has a lot of stairs (38 to be exact)- the sheets and pillows on the beds weren't our favorite. we ended up buying some others bc we couldn't sleep the first night.- the furniture is a little sparse (like no end tables or just one bedside table)- no lamps in the living room so only overhead lighting- a rug in the living room would have been a great added piece but def not a concern- there are two beach chairs for porch furniture so we used some beach chairs, no tables on the porch There is great internet! TWO built in grills! And did I mention how amazing the pool is?! We will definitely be staying here again! We will just bring our sheets and pillows and hope for some new porch furniture!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Sol. The unit was great and provided everything that we needed to enjoy our vacation. The best thing about this location is the proximity to the public beach, which wasn't crowded at all. They have beach chairs, a beach cart, boogie boards and other beach toys for you to enjoy. We definitely would stay here again!
