Great Getaway

We loved the Sandy Feet condo. From the moment we walked in we knew this was a special place. The condo is equipped with everything you could think of from beach chairs to coolers and even an inflatable boat ready to go. The place was up to date, cool, and comfortable. I’d stay here again!

Family vacation

Family got together for a family vacation and absolutely loved the house and easy access to the beach. We also loved having the pool and the access to the golf cart to go explore.

Post-Christmas family vacation

We had a wonderful stay right after Christmas! It’s an easy walk to the private beach and the neighborhood is really quiet. The weather didn’t cooperate otherwise we would have used the pool. We enjoyed using the kitchen and the grill.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

Our stay here in this fabulous home was incredible! From the excellent communication with the owners to the fantastic location, amenities, and thoughtful house setup, everything exceeded our expectations. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need — from sand toys and towels to a fully equipped kitchen. If anything isn’t perfect, the owners are quick to respond. The beach is literally just steps away, the patio offers plenty of comfortable seating, and the pool is the perfect size, heated to perfection. We can't wait to visit again!

This beautiful home was more than we could ask for

This beautiful home was more than we could ask for and more. There was plenty of room for everyone. Spacious patio with a beautiful view! Access to a private beach! There is so much to do around Miramar Beach and Destin, but you can have an amazing and relaxing time without even leaving the property! The property manager was very attentive and responsive to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your vacation needs.

We loves sandy feet beach retreat

We loved the house all the furnishings are beautiful and comfortable! Every bathroom has a full shower. The back deck has a great pool for kids and awesome lounge chairs …. The beach is two seconds from the house and such a beautiful beach… we had 9 adults and 7 kids with us and we never felt crowded, I definitely recommend

Amazing Getaway

A beautiful home and beach to stay at for vacation! The house has a lot of room for plenty of people. The walk to the beach was less than a minute it seemed. The beach is beautiful no matter what time of day. The pond out back of the house of the deck is beautiful. It was fun to count all of the turtles that would swim by. Our family will for sure be back! :)

Beautiful home

Two families stayed in this gorgeous house. Between us, we had many children under 12. Every person had a beautiful personal space and we had a blast in the pool and walking a short distance to the beach. The kitchen was great for cooking meals for everyone. We had a great experience and built lifetime memories. Fantastic!

Wonderful Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids) had an amazing stay. We enjoyed the house and pool. The kids loved the bunk beds. Being able to safely and quickly walk to the beach was a huge benefit. And, the location to restaurants and a grocery store was ideal. We want to stay here again!

Excellent choice!

We really enjoyed this property! The house is nicely redone and has great access to the beach. The grocery store is easily accessed with the provided golf cart as well as limited restaurants. We had to Uber to most eateries though. The small pool is good for small children. The beach and ocean are excellent. The community is quiet and comfortable.

Picture Perfect

This property is better than the pictures! The location is perfect. The rooms are spacious. The management team was very responsive. Unfortunately, we were there during a jet stream cold wave making it too cold to benefit from the heated pool. We can't wait to come back to experience all the property has to offer.

Great stay

We had 11 people, five adults and six kids and the space was great for us. We did have an issue with the pool heater a couple days into using it but they sent someone back out to fix it (we had two days of a cold pool). The beach access is perfect, the outside area was wonderful and the lotion was close to everything we needed.

Awesome Family House - As close to the beach as Beachfront

Convenience of having a golf cart to get around the area for quick trips. The beach is quick and easy to get to, 3 minute walk with no streets to cross. Restaurants everywhere. In the middle of all the action but in a private gated community and private beach makes it feel as if you are separated from all of the busyness.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shipwatch Sandy Feet Retreat. The home was perfect for our large group. Plenty of beds and the 4 full bathrooms worked perfectly. The garage was loaded with all of your beach essentials, no need to purchase anything else. We utilized the pool deck every morning and evening and both the adults and kids loved the game room. Talk about location!! Anything you could possibly need was within walking distance, or the 6 person golf cart could be used. We had the best time and will definitely return! Thank you!!

Vacation Stay

Property was in a perfect location, and besides a few hiccups it's a great place to stay! Upstairs bedroom has no bathroom, so you have to come down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom. Master bedroom shower 1 of the faucets didn't work right and the pool need a railing in it. One of the other bathroom toilets wasn't totally connected to the floor so it wobbled using it. And you can't open one of the drawers in kitchen without opening the dishwasher door first. These are all things that can be easily fixed. But overall it was a great stay and we all had a great time.

Our favorite neighborhood!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third consecutive year to stay at a home in Shipwatch during the month of May. The floor plan of this house worked well with three adult couples. We all had privacy and a private bathroom. We loved the size of the pool and the water was warm. The back deck was large enough to play games. We had no issues and appreciate how easy it was to check in and communicate with the property manager. Checking out was just as easy and only required removing trash and starting the dishwasher. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. The game room in back was nice to drop the beach stuff at the end of the day. It will be very diffcult for us to stay somewhere other than Shipwatch after enjoying such a quiet, private beach. We walked to Whale's Tail and Surf Hut and enjoyed having a golf cart for those quick trips to Winn Dixie or Bad *** Coffee. We hope to stay at 98 Shipwatch again!

The perfect retreat...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandy Feet Retreat by far has been the best rental that I have stayed at. It was the perfect house for our two families, is very spacious, and is in the perfect location. Win Dixie is just right down the street and the Outlets are right across the main 98 highway. We especially loved the easy access to the beach which was just a short walk from the house. The house was well stocked with beach gear, more than what I expected, and having the two additional chairs and umbrella service at the beach was convenient. We did have a maintenance issue with the hot water, however it was quickly resolved. The management company was amazing to communicate with and was very professional and courteous. The golf cart was nice addition if you wanted to go get a quick bite to eat or go for some ice cream on Scenic 98. The kids and the adults loved the game room and taking a dip in the pool was amazing after spending all day at the beach. The beds were comfortable and the updated bathrooms were a plus. The kitchen had the basic essentials, however additional baking dishes and serving platters/dishes would have been nice to have. Check out was very easy! We were very satisfied with our stay and we look forward to renting Sandy Feet Retreat again!!
