This home is in a great location for visiting Kings Canyon National Park. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are spacious and cozy. However, the upstairs sleeping area was disappointing; upon entering the room, there are no working lights near the doorway - we had to feel our way in the dark to turn on a lamp on the bedside table. The interior of the home could be somewhat cleaner. The home appears quite old, and in need of some additional maintenance: it was hard to find a 3-prong outlet.

It’s a cute cabin. It needs some attention, of course, but it’s good for staying one or two nights.

It’s a neat little cabin tucked away in a peaceful location, if you don’t mind the twisty drive to get there. We didn’t. It’s cozy and spacious and had basic equipment in the kitchen that I needed to make quick meals after our long days exploring Sequioa and Kings Canyon. The beds are also remarkably comfortable. We are mattress snobs and this cabin’s beds made us sleep like babies. The shower stall though, needs a major fix. The seal around the shower door is falling out and it does not close properly, making water seep out whenever we use it. But overall we had a very good stay. It’s a place we wouldn’t mind staying at for several days for a quiet getaway. Just make sure to stock up on supplies and gas. No groceries or gas stations close by.

A lovely getaway spot!

The cabin is so cozy and clean, we loved it. Peaceful, quiet woodsy area with a great nearby saloon for delicious food, nice people and a pool table! But if you’re planning on cooking bring your own olive oil and spices & cinnamon for your oatmeal because the cabin didn’t have those

Very Demure, Very Quaint

We spent one night as we toured Sequoia, then Kings Canyon. Location was perfect for a stop in between the two. One restaurant near property only open for lunch and dinner. It had good burgers. We did not have groceries as we were winging it. Had we stocked up I would have stayed more days. We really liked the house.

Nice, cute cabin

Nice place. We got exactly what we wanted. Driveway a bit steep in gravel one direction, more shallow other direction (it’s a small loop off the main road). Good food at the local bar/restaurant about 3/8 mile away. Most electrical outlets in house are 2 conductor outlets and not 3 conductor outlets so you may have to hunt around the house to plug in a laptop. Overall nice place

Our stay here was extremely convenient for access to both King's Canyon and Sequoia national Parks. It was a relatively well stocked kitchen for what we needed and enough beds for four adults. We brought enough food for our one week stay with us. We would stay here again just for how close it was to both parks.

Comfortable cabin

Our stay was very comfortable. Nice location. My only advice would be better communication regarding check in and confirmation for folks who have never gone through VRBO. I had to contact VRBO before I received any info on check in , keys, etc. the day before arrival. Other than that, fine stay!

It was an old rustic cabin in a very rural setting. Getting there was quite a drive with many windy roads. The short driveway in is very steep so we used the one down the road with another address shown but the road splits off to the cabin. It was a cold couple of nights and used the space heaters to warm the cabin. The bedroom has a narrow and steep set of steps to get up to where there were 2 queen size beds and another smaller bed. A space heater provided the heat there as well. If you go make sure to bring supplies as there are no stores nearby or restaurants. Bring coffee and filters for a MR Coffee as what was there was insufficient. There were some light switches that did not work, some bulbs missing, and the flashlight did not work. It was a bit rougher than we thought and we would not stay there again.
