This was our second time staying in a flat and it never disappoints. The only small issue we encountered were the couch and pillow were not detailed cleaned. They all had sand residue which is expected in Moab. The location is perfect being one block off of main allowing walkable access to everything offered.

My friend and I absolutely loved staying in the Moab Flats. It was a great location. The place itself was perfect. Very clean and cozy. One negative is the microwave didn't work.

Mostly good, but annoying appliances

Good stay in a great location, but the "smart" appliances were pretty frustrating. The nest thermostat kept resetting to a higher temp in the summer (even after we turned it down following the very specific instructions on the wall), the oven fan refused to turn off and ran all night, and the dryer wouldn't actually dry our clothes because it incorrectly "sensed" when it was done and refused to go longer.

No hot tub available, tv wouldn’t work

The house overall is very nice and comfortable. However, they advertised a hot tub, but it wasn’t available. Also, the tv was not able to function even by following the instructions listed on the card they set out. Sent messages to the host that were not responded to. I left a necklace there that has huge sentimental value to me, and they said there was no necklace there. I asked them to contact the cleaner, but very little effort or help was offered. Just an immediate reply of, nothing was left there. I know where is was and felt very angry that I couldn’t contact the cleaner or drop by there to get a chance retrieve it. I could have easily emailed or contact the cleaner. It’s handmade and had a tooth of my late dog embedded in it. As if they didn’t care to even give me a chance to retrieve it.

This apartment was very convenient to everything in Moab. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go within town. The pictures of the unit are deceiving. The unit is partially subterranean. It is VERY DARK inside, even on the sunniest days. It also has a musty smell. We had every light turned on and still had trouble seeing, especially in the bathroom where there is only one tiny above sink light. The shower area was impossible to see in. A grab bar would be helpful since it is so dark. The floors are a dark concrete. The bed was comfortable, so we were grateful for that. The furniture is old and very uncomfortable. (Metal kitchen chairs and very old, worn leather living room couch and chair.) Once done with our hiking, there was just no getting comfortable anywhere, except outside in the adirondack chairs. We are older so that is why we did not love it. We think young, hipster folks would be very happy with it though. I do think one of the upstairs units would have been ideal for us. I just had no idea based on the pictures, what we were actually getting. If you are older, ask for an upstairs unit.

Another great stay at Moab Flats!

This is our second stay at Moab Flats and once again we loved it! Our flat was appointed with everything we needed to sleep comfortably, dine in, and relax in the lovely common areas. It’s conveniently located in walking distance to most things in town. The space was spotless when we checked in and our host was always available to answer any questions. Looking forward to staying there again!

Perfect Location

The Moab Flats condo was perfect for our stay. Condo was clean with good kitchen amenities. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. We planned on renting mountain bikes while in Moab, and the secured bike storage was very convenient. Outdoor space was nice to relax in after being active throughout the day.
