"Having requested a superior room with a good view, we were bowled over by the incredible views over the pool golf course and miles of countryside from the full length full height opening picture window all along one side of the room. "Overnight stay enroute back to the uk, a little tricky to find, due to reliance on vehicle gps. Slight issues with checking in, due to some problems with Expedia system but no real problem. This hotel is the old French style so is quite dark inside but there is a great terrace where an excellent meal was served. "The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

"A screw half hanging out of the bathroom wall and a dirty cracked sink were the real negatives. The rest of the room was clean enough but the cooling system did not work very well at all. The breakfast and the dining area were very good. Overall it was ok but this is definitely not the sort of place that you want to stay for more then one night. "
