"The house is beautiful, especially the yard and they provide pool inflatable and beach gear which was helpful. Kitchen is well equipped. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was great. However the master bed and bath are only accessible by walking outside to pool area and going back in through a separate door. Also there is no door on the master bathroom. Air conditioning in each room was wonderful. There was a very loud water hammer in the first bathroom off the kitchen whenever the toilet was flushed. Host was responsive. I was worried about the location being noisy as it backs up to a main road and the Kaneohe marine base, but it was quiet. We very rarely heard any traffic noise. Being in Kailua was great to be close to Kailua and Lanikai beaches but any activities in Honolulu or Waikiki were approx a 30 min drive. The house is close enough to walk to the water but not to a beach that you can swim at. Swimming beaches are a short drive about 10 min away. Also most of the sliding doors on the house can't be locked which was concerning to me. It seems like a safe neighborhood but I like to be able to lock up valuables. We would recommend this house and would love to visit again."

"Winter getaway Feb/March 2026. We knew February could be a wet month but it was still 40 degrees warmer than where we travelled from and the rain was warm and did not stop us from getting out and about. Check-in couldn’t have been easier and Scott checked with us regularly to make sure all was well and to answer any questions we might have. The home was very clean, comfortable and colorful as depicted in the pictures and is well equipped. There are plenty of towels and inflatables for the pool and sand chairs available for the beach. Kailua beach was only minutes away where we took long walks and were even able to catch early sunrises several times during our stay which were gorgeous. The private yard and pool provided a beautiful setting for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We highly recommend this property. Scott is a great host and very accommodating. We had a fantastic time. "
