INDEPENDENT VILLA WITH POOL IN THE HEART OF TUSCANY

"Overall the property was spacious, clean, and as described. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility, gorgeous views, and wide open spaces and the villa was well equipped and clean. The host was fantastic to deal with and even helped connect us with a private driver and chef who made a wonderful meal for us during our stay. The property is very remote and rustic so as long as you fully understand that going in, you will enjoy your time. We chuckled at seeing a big toad try to jump into the front door one evening. We had some rain and noticed a small leak in the roof in one bathroom. You can also expect to see a bug or two - again this is a remote villa in the countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already missing morning coffees with that priceless Tuscan view."

No coffee machine in the room, one machine in breakfast room which staff only operated starting at 8;00am. Definitely a minus as wanted coffee earlier, and like to still be in pajamas in room. Pillows were flat and not supportive of neck or head. One mile of very bumpy road leading to property. Lots of flies around due to chickens and sheep on property. Room would be quite warm in summer"

"We stayed at the olive Farmhouse across the street from the main property. Rooms were cozy and clean with some interesting toiletries to use (made from olive oil). The property also has a range of activities (extra) to choose from. Just a note that eventhough the farmhouse is close to the main property, you have to walk uphill to get to the property for breakfast or the pool. Also it is close to Pienza but on the north side (personally I think the south side is more picturesque). But overall, a good stay and property! Staff was very professional, friendly and always courteous"

"We really liked our stay at Locanda Vesuna. It's quiet and peaceful, with nice views, and Pienza is only about 10-15 minutes away by car. The pool was great, the staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast costs extra, but it was cheap and good, which was handy since you're out in the countryside. Would definitely stay again!"
