Lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this very well thought out layout of a house, pool and dock. The house provided plenty of space for people to spread out. The dock was close as many homes are on large hills, it was easy to access. The marina is a short boat ride away with restaurant, games for kids, ice cream and more. We can’t wait to be back.

Beautifully comfortable & well maintained home

This pretty home was not only well designed, comfortable and adequately stocked with fully functioning and quality appliances, it was also located in a quiet cove that enabled easy access for docking our boat. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and provided many hours for fun for kids and adults alike!

Great house & even better location!

We had an amazing time at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The house had all the amenities we needed and more, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy electric fireplace, Wi-Fi, and a kitchen starter kit.The location was ideal—quite neighborhood, on the lake and close to the Food Lion grocery store. It made exploring the area super convenient and stress-free.The owner was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, from booking to check-out. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed days/nights on the lake. We ate at a great pizza place (Benny Adelina's where the only size pizza they have is 28" and it was delicious) and then took the boat to another good restaurant (Jake's Place). Would NOT recommend Drifters as the food was awful and they added 10.53 in extra fees to our bill. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway/family vacation/romantic weekend/etc.!

Great house for a group.

We had four couples and 7 kids under 5 years old and there was plenty of room for all. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The outside deck and patio areas were very nice and the pool was super clean when we arrived. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

A Little Slice of Paradise

A short stay at Magnolia Cove was just what our family and friends needed! Such a fun place to relax with so many options for entertainment for all ages! The area is so quiet and serene yet not too far away from shopping, wineries, amazing restaurants, and so much more. We rented a boat and enjoyed a beautiful mountain sunset! We hope to make this an annual family vacation spot!

Lakeside Perfection

We enjoyed a lovely week at the lake in the perfect lakefront home. With sleeping quarters on all 3 levels, it provided privacy and separation for each family. The utilization of space was well thought out providing a sense of roominess while maintaining a very cozy atmosphere. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Big family vacation!

Everything about Magnolia Cove was perfect for us! The house was clean and "lived well" (16 of us total)...the location was great...and the owners and property manager were VERY responsive. We've done these kind of vacations for 10+ yrs now and this is the first one where we all agreed we'd like to come back. And we may do just that in 2024!

Fantastic house!

We were a family of 16 all ages. House never felt cramped. The outdoor space was amazing! Pool was great, loved sitting outside on the wraparound porch and just taking in all the scenes on the lake. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were super comfy, Rec room downstairs was great for the teens. Loved the wildlife that came through each day.

Magnolia Cove Is Wonderful!

My extended family had a truly special time at Magnolia Cove. The house is clean, beautiful and well-designed. It is one of the best equipped vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The two paddle boards available there were fun to have on hand. We also rented a tritoon boat for a couple of days during the week, which made our stay extra-special. The lake is huge and just gorgeous. Deer were everywhere and one spike buck we dubbed “Bob” came and visited every day. Mike was easy to work with. We had a couple of small issues, easily resolved. Wonderful time! Thank you, Beville Getaways!

Great experience. Just would have liked to see a little bit of a deeper cleaner at turnover (hair in shower, dirty dishes in cabinets, bits of trash in corners of rooms, etc).

Perfect Lake Front Getaway

Gorgeous house with a great layout for a large group of guests. We had 14 people and plenty of room. Dock for enjoying the lake, fishing, or bringing a boat to tie up. Extremely prompt replies when asking questions or needing assistance. House was clean and provided plenty of activities to enjoy on a quiet part of the lake. May want to bring some pool towels and extra towels even though 2 per person are provided and was able to call to get more. Towels weren't allowed to be washed while there, so plan accordingly. Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

Squatters Rights

I’m sorry to all future reservations, but we live here now. We have decided it would be easier to just move our life to this beautiful home and pretend we are lake people. The pictures do not do the home justice. It is absolutely beautiful, filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. Super clean. Kitchen is fully stocked. Beds are super comfy. Plenty of space for your crew to be together or spread out. Great location with perfect views of the lake. We will definitely be back…but maybe without the kids.

Beautiful property

The house looks fairly new and is absolutely beautiful! We stayed here with four of our adult children, and their spouses and our seven grandchildren. The kids had a great time fishing off the dock and a couple of them along with our son even jumped into the 60° lake. The kitchen is spacious and stocked extremely well. Deer came through the yard each morning and there were two friendly (white) ducks that visited each day. There weren’t any towels in the house when we arrived, however, I contacted the property manager immediately, she got back with me in a short amount of time and in just a little over an hour after that someone dropped off towels. Apparently an oversight. Dishwasher was full of dishes when we got there, thankfully they were clean but had to be put away. There were no start up kits, such as, no pods for the dishwasher, no soaps for the showers, and at least two of the bathrooms only had enough toilet paper on the roll for one use. There was hand soap in every bathroom and the kitchen. There weren’t any kitchen towels or dish cloths to wash dishes, however there was a dishwashing soap. Obviously those are all minor items and we certainly did not mind supplying
