The lake view was amazing. The Roku TV was terrible. Unless you subscribe to a streaming service, which we do not, you cannot get a decent live TV. We wanted to watch a football game on ABC and couldn’t so we checked out early. While the host tried to help she didn’t. And when we told her we left early we received no response. I was not looking for a refund. I was letting her know she could get in to clean the room

Stripers is great! We loved the pool and the ramp/boat slip were so convenient to use. The views of the pool and lake were beautiful. The condo is small, as advertised, but had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. There are a LOT of steps to get from the room to the boat dock. Everyone there was so friendly and it was nice and quiet!

This host was perfect. She conveyed the details of my stay just prior to our arrival. She communicated the details for our stay to be enjoyable and fun. The community there was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Owner even had plenty of extra towels and linens. Coffee and tea collection were perfect to wake up and enjoy a sunrise over the calm of the mooring lake. The pool is very nice. Clean and well kept. They've recently replaced the umbrellas. Grounds are well maintained and the best part for us is we had our own assigned slip for our boat! The dock is user friendly. It's concrete. You can store your trailer onsite in a secured entry. Great if you want to go into town for a night. I would definitely stay here again. A 3-day weekend just is not enough time...lol.

Great but…

The place was clean, cutely decorated, and a great location and place. My only complaint was reliable internet. While most are on vacation and desire to be offline, I had work to do and that was impacted as well as steaming. Only providing HOA limited access. Only suggestions would be reliable and strong WiFi access, cooking options, and a better mattress. It was a great stay and place with an awesome view and amenities.

Great First Impression of Smith Mountain Lake

This was a great condo that made for a great couple of days. It was easy to access and had amazing views, and we enjoyed the amenities. Some things to remember could also be in the listing: the sofa/pullout bed is in the living/room deck area, while the "primary" bed is in the back towards the parking lot. Both beds are less comfortable and would associate with what you expect for pullout type/simple frame beds and mattresses. It was fine for a few nights and simple enough if you've got one or two kids in tow. There is also no working stove; they graciously provided an air fryer and microwave. There are few food/breakfast options, so stop for groceries at Krogers to have some staples on hand, as it will take 15 minutes to return. The Dollar General down the street is also stocked with some grocery items. I recommend renting a boat for the day, as we did, and enjoying the lake. I pulled up to the docks in front of the condo for a 15-minute family bio break, and you can access the ice machine to refresh coolers. Overall, it was a very nice experience to get acquainted with Smith Mountain Lake.

Happy but couple things dissatisfied with

The location was beautiful. The owner responded quickly. Just a few things that I was not completely satisfied with was the tv and cable. It only has about 17 channels mostly sports and news. So at night couldn’t relax and watch a movie or anything. Also, It kind of had a smell of pet in the condo. Other than that everything was great 😊

Excellent Stay

The condo was everything we were expecting and more. The condo was very clean, and plenty of household essentials were provided. The wifi was not great but the owner let us know that could be a possibility. Will book again if we ever come back!

Comfy & cozy getaway to SML

I love going to SML and was fortunate enough to find this cute, comfy, convenient place to stay for the weekend! It was also a quiet and peaceful place. The owner has done some nice updates to the place. She is also very responsive.

Cute spot

Very cute small condo. Everything is as listed and we had a nice weekend get away. The only complaint I have is that the railing on the balcony is not stable at all it's very flimsy and loose. Would be very cautious to have small children out there or to even lean on the railing. Other than that shower was a little tight but do-able! Thank you
