Detached villa with magnificent views, large pool and terraces

The comfortable villa is set in its own enclosed grounds of 2500 m2 with stunning panoramic views of mountains and hills. The house offers plenty of natural privacy through beautiful landscaped garden to the south.

The villa is rated with four stars and has a large pool with spacious terrace for sun worshipers. From the living room two separate doors will lead you directly onto the large terrace with rustic roof. On the terrace you'll find a wonderful dining table of Belgian blue-stone.

The living room has a wood burning stove, dining table, sofa, armchairs and a fully stocked cupboard.
The villa has spacious bedrooms with plenty of closet space, 2 separated toilets and bathroom with shower, tub and double sinks.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, an oven and an induction hob; in the utility room there is a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a vacuum cleaner, an iron and an extra fridge.

There is an outdoor shower, possibility for outdoor cooking (a gas barbecues is available) and there is ample parking on site.

There is also Wi-Fi, telephone, TV, Blue Ray DVD player, Chromecast and a Sonos Internet speaker. There is a selection of English and Dutch books, DVDs and games.

Besides all the luxury and comfort of the villa, pool, terraces, and the garden with stunning views, you can fully enjoy all that the area has to offer on outdoor activities, culinary, wine, cultural and historic places and interests. All of this located in the beautiful nature setting of 'Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc. The beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are an hour's drive away.

Top woning, alle comfort, fantastische ligging, geweldig uitzicht en mooi en kindvriendelijk zwembad. Zeer goed en snel contact met de eigenaar. Huisbewaarster Yafa verdient eveneens een pluim. Steeds beschikbaar wanneer nodig.

Lovely villa

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa. The pool is amazing, and what a fabulous view from the terrace we will definitely miss that! The check in process was very straightforward and helpful. The area is stunning and there is lots to do if you like walking, cycling or canoeing. Day trips to Béziers and Carcassonne are also possible. The shop in the village is also worth a mention, it’s amazing and has everything you will need. Definitely 10/10.

Fantastic House in spectacular location

We spent a week in this wonderful house. Set into the hill you get a brilliant view across the valley. The facilities are first class and include a pool that is very welcome during the hot summer days of August. Great location for exploring the area. Car is a must. We hired bikes locally and you can cycle along a well maintained cycle path that runs for miles connecting all the local villages. If you like, walking, cycling and exploring then this is a great location - if you don't you can still enjoy just chilling by the pool and admiring the great views in all directions. Pictures don't do it justice - thoroughly recommend.

Tolles Ferienhaus in schöner Lage

Das Ferienhaus und das schön bewachsene, uneinsehbare Grundstück sind überdurchschnittlich großzügig, sehr geschmackvoll und top ausgestattet. In Wirklichkeit noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Wir haben uns die Woche sehr wohlgefühlt. Es fehlte uns an nichts, die Schlafzimmer hatten sogar einen Fliegenschutz. Von der überdachten Terrasse (sehr angenehm, da wir einen Regentag dort verbrachten) hat man einen wunderschönen Blick in die Berge. Als einizigen kleinen Minuspunkt würde ich vielleicht den Zustand des (teils sehr schönen) Geschirrs bezeichnen. Teilweise waren die Gläser nicht ganz klar und Teller/Schalen hatten kleine Macken. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und geben dem Haus volle Punktzahl. Susanne und Roman

Wunderbar!

Wir Haben unsere Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist toll, bietet viel Privatsphäre, die Umgebung eigentlich sehr ruhig. Ein Betrieb im Dorf macht zwar gelegentlich viel Lärm, aber es ist nicht wirklich belastend. Es war so schön im Garten am Pool, dass wir kaum die aus früheren Jahren uns bekannte Umgebung weiter erforscht haben. Eine Woche war definitiv zu kurz. Nur das heftige Unwetter mit starkem Hagel am Abend vor Abreise hat unsere Stimmung betrübt, dafür hat das Objekt sicherlich nichts. Irgendeine Art von Unterstand für das Fahrzeug, sei es nur Sonnensegel, hätte die Schäden zumindest reduzieren können, aber was soll's, es könnte überall passieren. Und der Wassereinbruch über den Dunstabzug in der Küche war wohl dem Hagel zu verdanken. Nach dem die Hagelmassen abgetaut haben, hat es auch aufgehört. Wir hoffen, dass es nicht unser letzter Urlaub im diesem Ferienhaus war und werden uns freuen nochmal hier zu Gast sein zu dürfen.

Die Gegend ist etwas einsam

Die Vorbereitungen und Informationen seitens des Vermieters waren sehr gut. Leider hat das Haus keine Fliegengitter an den Fenster was sehr störend war, da bei offenem Fenster viele Tiere nach innen gekommen sind. Schönes Grundstück, schöner Pool. Nett eingerichtet. Hätte können etwas sauberer sein. Wenn man etwas unternehmen möchte, geht das nur mit Auto, die Wege sind weit bis zum Strand, Supermarkt etc. Die Schlüssel Übergabe ist gut organisiert.

Superbe location dans un lieu à découvrir !

Excellentes vacances dans cette villa très bien équipée, très confortable et superbement située. La piscine est très agréable et les vues sont fastastiques. Yaffa est une personne adorable. La région est vraiment à découvrir, c'est très beau et il y a mille choses à faire et à voir, en particulier de très belles randonnées bien balisées, mention spéciale aux Gorges d'Héric toutes proches et au Mont Caroux !

Gemütliches Haus in einzigartiger Region

Am Ende einer Sackgasse liegt dieses gemütliche Ferienhaus ohne Einsichtsmöglichkeiten von außen mit einem phantastischen Blick auf die umgebenden Berge und einen tollen Pool. Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal in diesem Haus, unsere Kinder haben alle darin schwimmen gelernt. Die Küche ist frisch renoviert und top ausgestattet. Fußläufig im Ort liegt ein kleiner Vival Supermarkt mit richtig guter Auswahl. Fast zu Fuß kann man zum Kanufahren, eine alte umgebaute Tankstelle an der Landstraße ist der Bäcker im Ort. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen das Haus für alle, die gern Ausflüge nach Narbonne und Montpellier machen aber ebenso gern Tage im Haus verbringen. Danke, Herr Voss, für den Wein und die angenehme Woche in Ihrem Haus!

Gute Ausstattung und toller Pool für Kleinkinder

Die Ferienwohnung bietet eine überdurchschnittliche Ausstattung, auch in der Küche. Der Pool enthält einen ca. 5qm großen Bereich, in dem ein Kleinkind knietief stehen und im Wasser spielen kann. Beides hat uns den Urlaub deutlich versüßt. Die Lage ist eher abgeschieden, aber man findet trotzdem genug zu tun für eine Woche, z.B. Wanderungen in den Bergen nördlich der Unterkunft.

The house is superbly laid out with everything supplied. Johann and on site Yaffa were really helpful and accommodating. Pool is beautifully maintained and a god send in the heat of the day. Lots to do in the area and access to the coast.

Ein perfekter Urlaub

Wir verbrachten vor Kurzem einen perfekten Urlaub im "Le Papillon". Schon beim Betreten des Hauses merkt man die tolle und wohlige Atmosphäre die dort herrscht. Man spürt und sieht, dass die Besitzer viel Herz reingelegt haben. Von der Ausstattung her fehlt es an nichts. Im Kühlschrank gab es sogar Willkommensweine und Wasser - eine herzliche Geste. Der Pool ist einfach klasse, meine Söhne waren nicht rauszubekommen :-) Die Umgebung ist einfach perfekt für Ausflüge. Wir haben Kanufahrten unternommen (3 Min Fahrzeit mit dem Auto), das schöne Städtchen Olarques ist auch nach 10 Min Fahrzeit mit dem Auto erreichbar. Der absolute Hammer sind die Naturbäder im Georges d`Heric, auch das liegt gleich um die Ecke. Johan ist ein perfekter, zuvorkommender und entgegenkommender Gastgeber, der sich sofort um die Dinge kümmert, auch wenn er selbst nicht vor Ort ist. Ein rundum toller Urlaub :-)

Geniales Haus

Wir sind nach einer guten Anreise sehr nett durch Yaffa empfangen worden. Sie hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt und uns,sollten wir Fragen oder Probleme haben auf ihre Unterstützung hingewiesen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr gut für Familien geeignet. Den Pool konnten wir noch nicht nutzen,darauf hat uns Herr Voss allerdings im Vorfeld hingewiesen und wetterbedingt war das auch nicht schlimm. Die Umgebung ist tatsächlich wie beschrieben total schön und wir konnten trotz der wenigen Urlaubstage viel davon sehen. Vielen Dank für die tollen Tipps in dem Infoordner!! Wunderschön!

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich wunderschön! Für uns als Familie mit 3 Kindern (11, 8 und 3 Jahr) war es perfekt. Für die Kinder war der Pool natürlich das Highlight und gerade der flache Bereich für unsere Jüngste sehr gut geeignet. Es gibt sogar einen Pool-Alarm, der anspringt, wenn nach einer Ruhephase wieder Wasserbewegung entsteht, so dass noch etwas mehr Sicherheit für den Fall besteht , dass ein kleines Kind ins Wasser fallen sollte. Das Grundstück ist auch sehr schön eingewachsen, so dass es eigentlich keine Nachbareinblicke gibt und die Aussicht ist toll. Das Haus selbst ist bestens ausgestattet und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich hier sofort wohl. Auch die Umgebung ist natürlich toll und die kurze Entfernung zum Gorges d´Heric fantastisch. Wir kommen bestimmt einmal wieder. Vielen Dank!

Een aanrader!

We voelden ons meteen thuis in dit huis. Het is zeer smaakvol en warm ingericht, en er ontbreekt niets. Het uitzicht is indrukwekkend, het zwembad top. Op wandelafstand vind je alles wat je nodig hebt in het dorpje, en toch is het huis zelf zeer rustig gelegen. In de streek kan je mooi wandelen, fietsen, canoën, en zijn diverse authentieke gezellige dorpjes te vinden.

Prachtig huis in een super mooie omgeving. Mooi wandelgebied en voor jong en oud veel activiteiten in de buurt. Het huis is keurig schoon, beddengoed en handdoeken zijn lekker fris. Mooie nieuwe keuken. Buiten leuke zitjes en heerlijk zwembad. Het uitzicht is geweldig! Yaffa is een hele goede gastvrouw!! Communicatie (en service) eigenaar eveneens perfect!

Komfortables Haus in schöner Umgebung

Das Haus hat eine ruhige Lage und ist dennoch als zentraler Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen geeignet. Wir waren mehrmals im Gorges d'Heric. Kostet keinen Eintritt, ist fußläufig vom Haus erreichbar und bietet jedes Mal ein wunderbares Naturerlebnis. Man kann sich aber auch den ganzen Tag am Haus aufhalten. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind wunderbar. Die Küche ist exzellent (für uns Hobbyköche sehr wichtig). Und als Ergänzung zum Essen. Man ist mitten in einem wunderbaren Weinanbaugebiet. Hier gibt es in der Umgebung sehr viele Weingüter mit Direktverkauf und überwiegend sehr guten Weinen.

Exceeded expectations

We can thoroughly recommend this property having enjoyed a fantastic week in this lovely home. The photos of the property are lovely but the reality is better. The owners have created a beautiful place to relax and enjoy “a home from home “ amongst the spectacular scenery. It is tempting just to enjoy the comfort of the house, terrace and pool area but the village centre is just an easy walk for eating out . There is also a very well stocked convenience store in the village for any essentials . The area offers great walking and cycling opportunities for all levels and the garage in the village offers cycle hire. Within a short distance there is a centre for canoes/kayaks should you fancy navigating a stretch of the local river. Communication with the owners has been great all along and the local property manager could not have been more helpful. Hopefully we shall be lucky enough to return to enjoy this house again before too long!
