"Perched between heaven and earth at 814 meters above sea level, the village of Mons is a real little corner of paradise. It seems to spring from a rocky spur whose colors it marries. The panorama is magnificent from this belvedere: the green hills of the Pays de Fayence and the Estérel mountains contrast with the blue of the bay of Cannes and that of Fréjus - Saint-Raphaël. And when the weather permits, we can see Corsica! ", Dixit the Visitvar site.

True eagle's nest, the house overlooks this extraordinary panorama with in the foreground an exceptional view of the village.

It is composed of 2 bedrooms with double bed and a large living room with a fully equipped American kitchen and a sofa bed (160x200) (with a screen separation possible), A bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washing machine… plus an independent WC ...
Outside is a large covered terrace, a place to live and a superb view. Whether day or night the show is permanent. On this terrace there are 2 tables, 8 chairs and armchairs, 4 sun loungers, as well as a small outdoor kitchen equipped with a Plancha ...

The place is calm and quiet; there are 2 other houses on the hill, distant and without any vis-à-vis, the nearest being about 200 m.

We go hiking at the door of the house.

Mons is full of points of interest; its Roman aqueduct, the cut rock, its 7 Dolmens, its terraces made of dry stone walls, its bories, its olive groves, an exceptional flora with its many varieties of wild orchids (ophrys), swimming in its rivers, the " Siagnole "and the" thread "...

The reservoir of St Cassien is 19 km away, and the sea, Cannes or St Raphaël, 45 km. There is also a free municipal tennis court 1.5 km away.

In summer, a light sea wind caresses the mountain during the day, making the place extremely pleasant and mild.

While strolling in this "Village of Character", you will be seduced in particular by the charm of its age-old houses built in dry stones.

You will find several shops, a grocery store, an excellent baker and 5 restaurants. You can also order excellent pizzas every night of the week.

Wonderful gite with inspiring views

We had a wonderful stay in this gite. The best thing, without a doubt is the view, which is indeed exceptional. The house is in a wonderful position - all I wanted to do was sit (on the very comfortable outdoor seating) and gaze down at the nearby village, the mountains and the mediterrannean beyond. Inside the house we had everything we needed: two comfortable bedrooms, large dining/sitting room, a bathroom (with a bath! always a plus for me) and well equipped kitchen. The house was always cool even though the weather was hot, and because you are high up, a cooling breeze tempers the heat. The area did not disappoint. You can walk down to the village via a footpath which is lovely. There are several bars and cafes also with wonderful views; a tiny but well stocked epicerie and a delicious boulangerie. Further afield there are numerous villages to visit and lovely walks - but mostly we liked soaking up the tranquillity and wonderful views at the gite. Thank you to Bernard who was a wonderful host. We didn't meet him but he was very communicative before our visit, made sure we had everything we needed and telephoned during our stay to make sure we were happy. A truly restorative holiday.

Fantastisk udsigt

Beliggenheden er uovertruffen, ligesom terrassen og udsigten. Huset er fint med et særdeles veludstyret køkken. Stuen noget særpræget ift. indretning, og rarest at være i når dørene ud til terrassen er åbne. Det store soveværelse er fint, vi brugte ikke det lille. Byen er hyggelig, og værten er meget imødekommende.

Tolle Lage!

Ganz tolle Lage, sehr abgeschieden an einem Berghang, wildromantisch. Umgebung wunderbar: Sightseeing, Schwilmmen, Radfahren, Wandern. Bester Ausblick von der Terrasse der überhaupt möglich. Vermieter extrem freundlich und entgegen kommend. Sauberkeit mäßig, viele Ameisen. Einrichtung abgewohnt, außer Küche, die ist perfekt eingerichtet.

Calme et tranquillité

Gîte au calme loin de l'effervescence habituelle. Endroit magnifique ( accès via chemin de terre) mais surtout une vue exceptionnelle depuis la terrasse fort agréable. Le gîte est bien équipé et très typique de l'endroit. Monsieur Kuntz est très attentif à notre bien être et toujours disponible. Si l'on cherche tranquillité,calme,repos et immersion dans une nature de toute beauté,l'endroit est vraiment à conseiller !

Goed uitgeruste woning op een magnifieke plek.

Een prachtig uitzicht tot aan de middellandse zee Veel privacy en rust . Met 4 personen goed te doen. Bedbank ( met 6 personen) minder. Compleet ingericht en ruime uitrusting. Wasmachine, droger, buitenkeuken. Romantisch. Wandelen, middeleeuwse stadjes in de buurt. Grasse en Nice goed bereikbaar. Schoonmaakkosten vooraf niet gemeld € 50. Geen beddengoed inbegrepen. Huis was ronduit vies ( niet schoongemaakt) bij aankomst. Bakker in Mons met uitstekend brood en gebak (zondag) en twee prima restaurants. Toch een aanrader.

Superbe location très bien équipée. Panorama idyllique!

Propriété de plein pied idéallement placée pour offrir un panorama grandiose et inoubliable sur le village pittoresque et chargé d'histoire de Mons, et de sa région jusqu'à la mer. Le gîte, pas immense est cependant très bien conçu pour offrir une très bonne gestion de l'espace et peut accueillir confortablement 6 personnes ou plus. 2 couples ont une chambre indépendante. Mur en pierres, bois donnent au gîte un cachet tout à fait agréable. L'équipement est de bonne qualité et le propriétaire joignable à tout instant est à l'écoute des problèmes, remarques et suggestions éventuels avec le souci sincère du bien-être maximum des occupants. Un service de nettoyage et d'accueil est prévu pour un maximum de liberté et d'exploitation du temps de séjour. (Tarif raisonnable). Enfin, le calme, la beauté des lieux, les parfums et saveurs de cet endroit quelque peu sauvage mais central en terme de tourisme fournissent un bien-être réparateur.

Séjour plus que parfait

Un grand merci Monsieur Kuntz pour nous avoir permis de passer 2 semaines dans votre maison. Un séjour que nous avons grandement apprécié, la vue était à la hauteur (et même plus!) de ce que vous m'aviez décrit. Nous avons surtout profité des lieux, avec quand même quelques baignades dans la Siagne et la Siagnole. Mon petit garçon de 2 ans s'y est également beaucoup plu et était triste de quitter "sa petite maison des vacances". Le village est charmant, le boulanger excellent et il a largement contribué à nous faire passer un bon séjour. Merci à votre charmant neveu, Valentin, qui nous a donné quelques bons tuyaux et avec qui nous avons pris l'apéro. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de lui dire au revoir, n'hésitez pas à le saluer de notre part. Bref, on a à la fois envie de partager cette adresse qui nous a enchanté et aussi de la garder secrète, afin de mieux pouvoir y revenir ! Bien sincèrement,
