“Can’t begin to describe what a great stay this is. A real experience, if you are doing the battlefields, then staying or visiting here is a must. Comfy beds, great facilities and good breakfast. Loft chapel is probably the nicest chapel or church I have ever seen mainly because of the emotion involved. Thoroughly recommend. ”

“Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. And that's not even mentioning the absolutely beautiful room with a large bath that was very welcome after the trek out to Poperinge!”

“We wish we had discovered this place years ago as we have been making this trip 2 or 3 times a year using a hotel near Lille. This charming house is so much better and the welcome from the charming Marie-Odile was lovely. So much care has gone into the preparation of the accommodation and the breakfast, largely using home-grown items, was exceptional. I am sure we shall find a reason to come here again.”
