"We had a wonderful time at this property. The privacy and quiet, with the pool was amazing. Great loungers and towels to use. The house had a lot of space, was beautifully decorated, and very clean. We were left a lovely care package, and recommendations of things in Ronda. Hosts were very responsive. The A/C from the living area didn’t quite reach to the bedrooms, so it was quite warm at night. There were not windows to open, only french doors in the bedrooms, so keeping them open at night...

Hotel Don Miguel

8/10 Good

"Decent hotel in an excellent location. Probably the best if traveling without a car. However, if you do have a car, the location might cost you additional dollars/euros you do not expect from a traffic fine. I am still not certain the sections of the street leading up to the bridge the hotel is located next to are restricted, but I just paid a fine months after our stay for driving in the restricted zone. Supposedly if you stay in a hotel in the restricted zone you are exempt, but nothing was ever mentioned while we stayed there and the hotel did have our rental car information. I guess there are signs, but I never noticed any. At least not ones located on the MAIN street through Ronda and the street GPS will most likely take you down. Possibly I missed it while on the lookout for all the people walking in the street due to overcrowded sidewalks. It seems that the Hotel Don Miguel and many others are located in the restriction zone, so I would assume Ronda is making tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Euros from fining visitors. The staff was very friendly and even parked our car for us in their garage the first night."

"The Good: The view! ohhh that view! Get a corner room. It is breathtaking. Location: It is a few blooks from the center buzzle, but super quiet at night. The pool. Pretty nice to take a plunge, have a cocktail and relax. The Bad: They will charge extra for EVERYTHING. Want a bucket of ice: $10. Parking: $20. The smallest coffee I've had: $6. Food! This is supposed to be a 1 star Michelin restaurant, and what we had was pretty average."

"And absolutely charming Hotel on a prominent corner within walking distance to absolutely everything. We lucked out in a great room with two Juliette balconies, but even the smaller rooms are clean complete and the facilities are perfect. I can’t say enough good things about Ana and all of the staff. So kind, offering incredible support and direction and a really cute breakfast and a breakfast room right in the hotel. It’s impossible to say enough good things about the staff at this place. Spanish charm in an amazing old world setting that is terrifically well-maintained. I’m just perfect in every way. Great value."

"Wirklich ein niedliches Dorf und man bekommt alles was man braucht. Die Unterkunft außen und im Wohnbereich sehr schön eingerichtet und genau wie auf den Bildern. Wirklich traumhaft schön. Die Zimmer leider schon etwas abgewohnt und teilweise kam der Putz von den Wänden aber alles sehr sauber.2 der 4 Zimmer hatten leider sehr wenig bzw. gar keine Möglichkeit die Kleidung aus den Koffern zu räumen. Die 4 Badezimmer sind ausreichend groß und wirklich sehr sauber und ordentlich. Leider sind nur keine Türen zum schließen vorhanden, lediglich ein Vorhang dient als Sichtschutz.Alles in allem waren wir dennoch sehr zufrieden und hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Haus. Empfehlen wir weiter."
