Room was a lovely size for a solo traveler. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. I had to be up and out before breakfast so they made me a packed lunch! Dinner was nice and a decent price. Staff were nice tbf, room was £130 + £15 for our dog well over priced for location and quality, no discount for eating in restaurant prices compared to hotel in major city centres, I travel a lot for work and know! We chose the cottage for easy access to dramatic walks, and a wonderful fire to come home to at night. It was cosy and spacious, and we loved waking to the sound of sheep and baby lambs in the morning. Had good outings to the nearby town of Bishop’s Castle and NT Powis Castle a bit further afield. ...

Host was great, answered all my questions and even gave us a bottle of prosecco for my girlfriends 21st, if your looking for a short trip away somewhere new, I would recommend!

Staff were lovely and welcoming even with a self check in! Came to make sure we had a travel cot and high chair for our baby as we didn’t specify age of our youngest child! Lovely sight we can’t wait to go back
