「There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city...

「BJ and Iris were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was great with wonderful views and a stones throw from Carcassonne city. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams.
BJ was also very kind to re freeze our ice packs for the onward journey. We will definitely be back.」

「Great place and a great host. Pity that we could stay only one night this time. We appreciate that Valerie helped us with all the questions that we had asked. We really liked her green approach: no plastic used; she made her own juice and yoghurt. Everything else (jam, honey etc) was stored in small glass containers.」

「We only stayed for one night before a morning flight from Carcassonne but wish we could have stayed longer!
Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. The house looks like something from the pages of a posh interior design magazine. We had a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Restaurants, supermarkets and the rail station are all a few minutes walk. And our host's baking skills made breakfast an absolute treat - you'll notice the delicious smells wafting...

Il est des adresses que l'on découvre et que l'on voudrait garder pour soi, tant elles semblent taillées sur mesure pour le repos de l'âme. Cette chambre d'hôte en fait indéniablement partie.
Dès l'arrivée, l'accueil donne le ton : généreux, chaleureux, sans la moindre affectation. La maîtresse de maison reçoit ses hôtes comme on reçoit des amis de longue date, avec une attention qui ne se dément jamais.
Le cadre, lui, tient toutes ses promesses : bucolique à souhait,...
