Montrosier is a tiny village bordering the Aveyron River. It's very peaceful, and you'll only hear the birds singing. Nearby are the Aveyron Gorges, the Grésigne Forest, and the Bonan Valley, perfect for hiking, cycling, or relaxing by the water. Further south, Cordes-sur-Ciel, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and Albi, an episcopal city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don't miss the pretty fortified towns with their picturesque streets, such as Puycelsi and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, and the fortresses of Penne and Najac. Your children can swim in Laguépie, and you can explore the Aveyron Gorges by canoe. On Saturday mornings, the Varen market, or on Sundays, the Saint-Antonin market, are a must-try for your taste buds. The gîte is upstairs, accessed by a stone staircase and a small terrace. The house is located in the village, behind the town hall. You enter the living room, with a large table, sofa, armchair, and TV. The decor is warm, in harmony with the stone and wood.
