Cozy Rustic Retreat w/ Mountain Views, King Suite & Fast WiFi
Rustic Retreat – Blue Ridge Mountain Sanctuary
Tucked at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains between Bedford and Roanoke, Rustic Retreat is a rare private escape where history, seclusion, and untouched natural beauty come together. Once part of a working 1800s tobacco farm, the land still carries quiet traces of its past—woven into the fields and landscape like living history.
Reimagined in the 1970s due to a fire that took the original farm house, Rustic Retreat was formed from its original farmhouse roots, the property has been intentionally preserved as a peaceful mountain sanctuary designed for one purpose: to slow life down.
Unmatched Blue Ridge Views & Slow Living
Mornings here begin on the glass-enclosed front porch with a cup of coffee or tea, where mist rolls across open fields and mountain light fills the valley. Evenings end on the enclosed back patio, where sunsets stretch across the Blue Ridge horizon and the world feels still for a moment longer than usual.
This is not just a view—it’s an experience.
Wildlife moves freely across the property: deer grazing at sunrise, wild turkeys crossing the fields, and the distant sounds of coyotes and Eastern whip-poor-wills at night reminding you just how deep into nature you’ve arrived.
