Aided by faultless weather the cottage met our every need. So much so that we didn't do as much travelling in the area as we thought we might because we were quite happy at the cottage and it's environs. "Une soirée magique dans un domaine remarquable en pleine campagne. Anne accompagnée de son chien Nemo nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et une visite "guidée" des lieux. Anne a été très arrangeante pour que je puisse venir en avance décorer et préparer l'anniversaire avant l'arrivée des invités. Idem pour le départ. Merci encore à Anne et Alfred ! "A very clean, cosy and comfortable property, quite spacious and in a very secluded and quiet location. The cottage is very well equipped, very warm with a large wood burner as a focal point in the main room and the owner even delivered wood to our front door every day from the main store."

"We have stayed in this apartment before so we knew what to expect. The small patio is a bonus but this time we brought our own chairs as we don’t find those provided very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable but it is very warm up there~ we were glad of the fan. We found the Wi-Fi to be rather inconsistent ( not sure if it was like this before). There is a supermarket 1 minute walk away which is just perfect."

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

Only minor negative (not worth any stars as you can read the reviews and prepare in advance) is not providing toiletries in the name of being eco friendly - however I think this worsens the environmental impact as visitors probably end up buying individual items and throwing them when you could have a refillable dispenser....
