"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. "This Ryokan was absolutely perfect. Train station literally across the street. Quiet area and the property itself was spectacular. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious. Also, onsen near the lake was peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Eher für ältere Reisende oder Familien ausgelegt. Der Onsen/Wellnessbereich war sehr schön. Der Wasserpark hatte geschlossen. Dieser Öffnet nur im Sommer. Davon wussten wir nichts und im Internet war das auch nicht direkt ersichtlich. Die Lage ist unvorteilhaft, wenn man kein Auto hat."
