“The general take away was everything is either a bit or on its way to being very run down. It was all clean enough, floors, kitchen, linens, and bathrooms. But even then, visible wear and tear (visibly dirty couch, grimey tiles, and hard to close kitchen cabinets). The hot water heater, we found, was initially turned off, but even when we turned it back on, the water never really got hot in the showers. “What a sweet little getaway. Perfect size and amenities were great! The location is so prime for exploring Joshua Tree and 29 Palms. So happy to find a nice place at a good price. The hot tub was incredible looking out at the stars and the hammocks in the morning for the sunrise was such a nice touch. The hosts were so attentive in making sure I was taken care of. ”
