After a very long journey in the heat really didn't want to get the car out again and was able to walk to the Tesco Express and back in less than ten minutes. Check-in and communication with host was great - we phoned twice and the call was answered immediately both times. 「Very good hotel within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Harrogate. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the main menu looked really good and the bar area was large and inviting. There is also an outdoor bar area at the rear of the hotel which was lovely. 「The room was clean, with a few small rubbish from previous guest. The room itself is quite dated, but that is the nature of the building. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and cheerful. 「The hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that left a mark was the bed, it was quite uncomfortable because it was not a double bed but one that was made up for two out of a single and what seemed to be a sort of pull out bed. That was the only minor thing during what was otherwise a lovely stay!! We did highlight to staff and hopefully they will upgrade the bed. Thank you to the staff who were brilliant !!!」
