“We went as a stopover between our trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Stayed 2 nights for kids enjoy the farm life. Good geographical location means you won't lose your time travelling too far from the highway. The cub tent is very comfortable. Luxury camping experience. Kids must like the toys and the lovely animals. We saw miniature horse, lambs, chickens, cows, wild kangaroo and wild rabbits! We saw baby lamb of 1 and 5 days old too! Ruth cooked yummy meat pie and chicken soup for us. Fantastic……

“We had two separate overnight stays on our trip south. Tuckerbox Motel is clean, comfortable and everything you need for a stay. Steven the owner went above and beyond to contact us after we left because a jacket had been left behin. He went out of his way to post it for us and nothing was too much trouble for him.”

“We stayed for 1 night in a tiny house, set along the bank of the Tumut River. Check in was straightforward and friendly, our unit was very clean and comfortable with a lovely outlook over the river. It had a very comfortable bed and very good shower and all amenities needed. It was in a quiet location and just a short walk into the town centre. We would certainly stay here again.”
