Check in was difficult with a person who we had trouble understanding due to a very heavy accent and who appeared to have difficulty with our expedia reservation. She also refused to believe that I had a disability. The room had a definite musty smell and the carpet looked like it needed to be shampooed. The air conditioning worked but was noisy. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The shower was far to low on the wall for my 6'6" frame. There was no soap in the soap dispenser or it was broken. The breakfast items were sparse and there were no coffee cups available. The person at the front desk appeared bored and uncaring. The room needs a complete make over and the property is in need of maintenance. Not horrible but I'm sure there are better options in the area

Clean room. New vinyl flooring, no carpet! Bed super comfy. Only shampoo and body wash provided, no conditioner. Breakfast was basic and very limited. But for the price this place is awesome!

Price was right and the room was super clean with comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was usual continental fare but coffee could have been better and please serve regular cream not that artificial chemical delight! Will stay again next year on our drive down to Florida.

The motel is clean, bed & pillows are comfortable, frig kept everything nicely cold, and there is a microwave. Our 1st room was missing the TV & they quickly moved us. If looking for clean & comfortable & don’t need fancy this place fits the bill.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast on Wednesday morning was only until 9:30 and since I'm a late riser I didn't get it in time. This location is situated between right next to a major truck stop so sometimes getting in and out is difficult when trucks back up and blocking the driveway. It's right off of I-77 and there are fast electric car charging stations in the parking lot at the truck stop. No charging stations at all up the hill near the hotel.

Sufficient parking. Firm, comfortable beds. Water was plenty hot and water pressure in shower was great. Appliances (small fridge w/freezer, TV) worked very well and spouse was more than satisfied with hair dryer. Passed on continental breakfast but wife said breakfast area smelled great.

As a solo female traveler, I typically stay in hotels with interior hallways and doors that you need a keypad to enter. However, the Bryson in is an updated old school true story motel with updated doors with key card locks in a quiet setting just off the interstate and the staff made me feel safe and welcome.

Room was clean Breakfast was fresh. Lots of lights outside felt safe at night. Room does need some updating. Sitting chairs were broken down in the middle carpet was older and dirty. But bed's were very comfortable no bugs and Bathroom was very clean. For the price it was a great stay.

Unfortunately the quality of the breakfast was very poor….not much food (1 yogurt, a couple of bagels, no fruit, nothing hot) supplies were not stocked (no reg sugar) and the chairs were still up in the tables Disappointing for sure

If you are looking for a place to lay your head that is no frills, just clean and a roof over your head this is the place for you. The breakfast is minimal options. Staff was friendly and bed was comfortable.
