Nice mountain view but AC didnt work good. We hoped it would get eventually cool the room down but it never did. Random trash laying all around and a consistent smell of mildew and Marijuana. The place definitely needs attention.

An old building budget motel with maybe a few permanent residents and no fancy cars in the lot but worked well for this old biker. The room was recently painted and clean. No bugs, a hot shower with great pressure. Waffle house across the street, McD next door. A good view of the famous mountain.

The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and the ac cold. It was the perfect location for us. It was confusing to find, because the sign was wrong. The place has seen better days and needs a complete upgrade. The exterior stairway was very shaky and almost dangerous! We stayed two days and it worked for us, but we were deceived by the pics in Expedia! The staff was great, but some of the tenants were a little bit worrisome. If you're looking for a cheap motel in Pilot Mountain, then this is the only choice!

The gal who checked us in was great! We had a good stay here. It was a nice long weekend trip. The landscape could use some TLC. The room accommodated our needs.

Room smelled like smoke, pillows same smoke smell. Doors didn’t close securely. Trash and debris left in the stairwells. Damaged HVAC units. Breakfast was extremely limited, no juice, warm milk, and the waffle batter was watered down. Pictures showed a pool, but it was out of service. Definitely not worth $120, maybe worth $60 per night.

Room wasn’t very clean (found a toe nail clipping) and the tub backed up after one shower. They did come and plunge it. Pool was closed and looked like it had been for a while. Continental breakfast wasn’t very good. The WiFi was out as well. Won’t be staying here in the future.
