“It was a motel at hotel prices. Room was clean, but it is ageing. More importantly, the room was not sound proofed. Guildford sits right under the flight path, so we were woken by very low aircraft from very early in the morning. The pub was cool, but this was definitely a country pub with a motel attached, despite the rates and proximity to the city. It was okay. Might stay again, as it is close to my brother's house, but only if there is a good deal on rooms.”
